Depeche Mode Daily

I would like to remind everyone that all posts must contain a picture of Depeche Mode or a band member. Failure to include a picture in your post, will result in your post being deleted and marked as spam even if your post is related to Depeche Mode.

The only exception to this rule are posts containing Depeche Mode-releated graphics (i.e. LJ icons or wallpapers.) However, the post must be strictly focused on Depeche Mode or a band member.

If people continue to post off topic and/or text-only posts, I will put the community on moderated submission.

I have clearly and repeatedly stated from this community's start that this is a picture community and that all posts must have a picture.

It’s finally happening! Work has begun! The new Depeche Mode album is now under way! Yes, you’re reading this, and it’s real! Yay!

Last night sources close to the band informed us that studio work has begun. The band and their production team met up in California late last week and began the first set of studio sessions on Monday, May 5th.

Sessions are tentatively scheduled to wrap up in late Autumn, leaving time for mixing and mastering in time for a March ‘09 release.

Touring is still being penned - expect to hear more on this nearer the completion of the album.

I always wanted to draw or sketch something for DM. Since I have a thing for quick humour and am not the most skilled artist, I settled on simple and tiny DM comicstrips.
