We're back up!

HUGE thanks to the other moderators and our new servermaster. Several of the mods and our new servermaster spent the past few days working almost non-stop to not only help us choose a new shiney server but get it up and running as fast as possible.

And thanks again for those of you who donated. Due to your speedy and generous donations we were able to get a really great server solution, and get it quickly.

We hope to make some really nice improvements soon after the server dust settles. Thanks for sticking with us. :)

Hi guys, recently we've had more and more server/forum problems and then this morning we had some serious database errors so we've temporarily shut the forum down.

We're working hard to try to fix the problem and as soon as we can get things undercontrol we are going to be upgrading the forum software and probably our server as well.

Please bear with us, we hate it being down, too. I'm so sorry about all the problems lately. We really are trying hard to get things fixed.

As Zag said, go redress your dolls or take some photos! :)

servermaster attempted moving to a new location to do a test this morning, so doa will be down off and on.

however, he says that propagation shouldn't take more than 24-48 hours (and some of you are still having problems a whole WEEK later. That's not normal) but it sounds like it's still a propagation issue with a specific ISP. Most likely the Road Runner ISP is not set up to update fast enough. Meaning you just have to wait until Roadrunner finally updates its dns entries. :(

Just an update!

At least we're at http://denofangels.com/ and http://denofangels.com/forums/

However, some people's ISPs still are not recognizing the new server. This is not due to anyone being banned or "blocked". I'd never block someone from the domains. ^_^ If you were banned, you'd get an email to that effect, but we haven't banned anyone. This is just a normal part of a server moving. Within a day or so everyone should be able to view DoA without any problems, so please just be patient!

Hey Everyone!

Good news! Sometime over the next day or so, http://denofangels.com/ is moving to a new server! This is going to mean lots of possitive improvements for us... most of all that the server will be more reliable. I'll tell you about some of the fun new improvements later.

But right now, MAKE SURE you have any email addresses or contacts for people you may be talking to, because it is concievable that DoA will go down for a little while. We'll try to get it back up asap, but moving a server takes time!

I'm going to start making DoA status related posts public here! (hopefully we won't have to do this very often!)

DoA is currently back up!!

Yesterday servermasters were trying to fix some things so thats why DoA was going down. He's also going to try to look into DoA's image upload. One of the problems was that the version of board software had some security holes in it. So we're going to upgrade that. Obviously the last thing we want on top of the board crashing is to get hit with that worm that got Domuya.
