Pretty sexy stuff [26 Jul 2008|05:05pm] justtracy [ mood | hot ] I went into Harrow today (needed to get Lucy a birthday present) and while I was there I looked in Argos for the new "Doctor Who" action figures, unfortunately they didn't have any in stock (shame because I want a Donna) but while looking at the "Doctor Who" page something caught my eye on the page next to it. Look: If you can't make it out those look like new "Primeval" figures. The Abby and Connor ones are wearing different clothes to the ones that were out before, there's a Jenny one there and the Helen one has short hair. I'm guessing they're series two ones. They only had two "Primeval" figures in stock so I asked if I could view them but when they came down they were the same as the ones I've already got. The pictures are definitely new though but I can't find anything on the site. Hmm, if there's new ones available then I want them now! lost without you

Of Comic Con, and Breaking Dawn [26 Jul 2008|11:57pm] bluebear_74 [ mood | cold ] [ music | The Middleman S01E03 ] I've been reading all the Twilight stuff from Comic Con and by the sounds of things fangirls killed Comic Con, lol. It's not only me who thinks that some of the cast didn't know what they were getting into when they signed up? RPattz and Kristen always look o_O around fans. Though others are really great, like Cam and Taylor (who I think I have a tiny crush on because he's so bubbly, and seems so energetic and into Twilight). Inkworks are making trading cards as well!! So tempted to buy a box so I can get the set of cards. Also is anyone going to buy Bella's engagement? Hope we'll hear about other shows/panels over the weekend, ie Heroes, Supernatural, etc. Borders in Chadstone are also having a pre-released event for Breaking Dawn. I want to go but it's 4:30-7PM and I have a lecture at 5-7PM and I can't miss it because it's my Project unit and my group members wouldn't be pleased. I still haven't decided where I'll get the book, Borders has it for $20, but I'm not sure if Target/Kmart at Fountain Gate will have it or will be as cheap. I need to find a karoke track of it and record it; I think I'll take it upon myself to do that with my songs. It's not always easy to find karoke tracks on the net though! my singing teacher is funny! I did a bad bad thing, but I'm in love, so I don't care! [25 Jul 2008|06:02pm] rdfreak I didn't go to work today; reason: I'm sick of being treated so unfairly, and I refuse to work for this unfair employer of mine longer than I have too. I am currently reconnecting with Wise so I can hopefully start a greater search for another job. Yesterday I guess, took the cake. I knew the two L's were making faces behind my back as they were talking about a situation where I was on the phone. I wanted to go on me holiday next year, but if a new job means I can't, it will have to be worth it. Do I like playing the sicky? absolutely not. but I couldn't bear be humiliated again today after three days straight! -- I was asked to go back to queens again on Monday; god knows why since F will be back! I have spent last evening, and pretty much all today on YouTube recording Julie Andrews everything! -- there's quite a lot on there. I go through phazes where I'm listening to her all the time, then I quietly slip back into life! This one started from a forward which I received a few days ago with the words of a cover of "MY FAVOURITE THINGS" which she really did perform in Manhatten a few years ago; it was sooo funny! ( it's unfortunately got a stackful of greater signs ) I read on her wikipedia page that she's now 72. There is such a difference between her younger-Sound of music, Mary Poppin'ish days and now, it's amazing. She doesn't unfortunately sing now due to that operation she had on her vocals, but she is still writing children's books! The latest I've got of her singing was "THE PRINCESS DIARIES"; SHE WAS SINGINGG WITH Raven & Anne Hathaway: "Your Crowning Glory" WHICH IS JUST AN AWESOME SONG! i DID HEAR THOUGH THAT THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE KEY TO SUIT HER OLDER, HUSKY VOICE. SO NOW, i HAVE MUSIC AND INTERVIEWS OF ALL AGES; i EVEN FOUND A RECORDING OF HER SINGING WHEN SHE WAS 12; THAT WAS AMAZING! UNBELIEVABLE IN FACT! Wow, just wow! She's just one of these people that have always, (even since I first started watching Sound of Music, filled my ears with magic! She had an amazing singing voice, and even her speaking voice is addicting, totally! honestly, without a doubt in this world, her and John Denver's voice have never compared with anyone else's; they're both just .. amazing in their unique ways. in fact, the pair did sing "Edelweiss" together, which I had recorded last night! .. wow! I can't say enough about them both! This weekend.. [24 Jul 2008|06:26pm] xxinthislifexx [ mood | excited ] [ music | Katy Perry--I"m still breathing ] I'm leaving for West Virginia in the morning and I haven't even begun to pack. Every year on the last week of July my paternal side of the family has a reunion. This is the most boring thing I will endure all year. The majority of my family lives in and around the Charleston area. This weekend will be jam packed. I have to work around my mother, my cousins, my step-grandparents, my family members that probably forget I exist every other day of the year, and doing some sight seeing. I was born in WV and I go back every year, but I always like to take it in like a tourist. It's so beautiful there. Anyway, it's just my grams and me going. The trip takes about 7 hours but with just the two of us it's going to be hilarious. We are crazy when we're together. We'll be the two loons blasting Elvis and singing at the tops of our lungs. I plan on sneaking some Delta in there as well. We are staying through Sunday and the hotel we will be at is really close to the Kanawha River!!! That is a must when we go there. It's so big and it goes forever. Ever read/seen Follow the River??? Well that's the river they're talking about. If all goes planned this will be an amazing weekend. If this is the last song I'll ever sing I'm giving it everything [24 Jul 2008|10:16pm] justtracy [ mood | crappy ] [ music | "Bones" on SkyOne ] Just got back from seeing McFly at the Koko Club, dude, "The Last Song" is quite possibly the most amazing song ever. It's so good it actually nearly makes me cry when I hear it live (how sad is that?) and I don't even really know why. The boys were on really great form tonight (had to be really as it was being beamed live via satelitte to Vue cinemas across the country) and played pretty much the same set as the SBE album showcase except "Room on the Third Floor" was played too tonight. Incidentally, I've decided I love that song.  It's gradually working its way up my favourite McFly song list. It's such a shame that "Lies" isn't on the "Radio:ACTIVE album because I really really like it. Looking forward to hearing the studio version wen the deluxe edition is released though. I loved at the end of the show when Danny did the whole "thankyou for coming" thing he also added "we've been McFly! Thankyou!". I don't think he's ever said that before and it was so cute.
