If you are a considering buying a degu, please read this page before you do! Degus are a long-term commitment and they're certainly not for everyone. Please do not buy degus on a whim; more and more degus are being turned in to animal shelters by people who were unprepared for the experience of owning them.
 
Meep! Advertisements for other communities or unrelated products will be chewed to bits, urinated on, and flung into the sand bowl or across the room as we see fit. Flamers will be kicked out of the cage altogether.
