Degrassi Actors in TV Movies, Part Deux

Continuing an earlier post regarding "Degrassi" actors seen on made for TV movies, mainly on the Lifetime channel, I thought I would post on the new LMO, called "Devil's Diary". According to the message board on IMDB, this movie already has aired in Canada, and it aired for the first time on American television last night at 8 and again at 11:30 on the Lifetime Movie Network. It starred Alexz Johnson from "Instant Star" and Miriam McDonald and Deanna Casaluce. If you missed it, you will have to check your local listings. There are also clips on the LMN site and Youtube (of course)

P.S. IMO, it was like a tame version of "The Craft', but did have it's unique moments.

In an episode in S1 Spinner shoots a spitball at Manny, and as revenge she pretends to cry. When he leaves, Manny says "I knew it would work, always does on my brother." Manny's brother is never mentioned again, though! Just something I thought was interesting.

Also, in the earlier episodes it seems like Manny's dad is very strict, yet he lets her get her nose pierced?

In Mercy Street, does anyone else feel like the kids were just... complete assholes? I mean, yes, Rick put Terri in a coma and stuff and it was stupid of him to even come back to Degrassi, but their harassment of her, well, it just went too far, I guess. In th beginning I hated Emma for starting all that shit with him, but I admired that she stopped it.

John Bregar (Dylan Michalchuck) posted some photography on his website and he used several Degrassi actors as his models (Jimmy, Mia, Alex, Jay, Marco...)

Kate Todd (from Radio Free Rosco) and this chick from She's Too Young (the movie with Miriam MacDonald from 2002ish) also modeled for him.

Hello, all. I'm about to start working on an essay supporting the Craig/Ellie ship for a community here at LiveJournal. I would really appreciate feedback and opinions from all Degrassi fans. If you have a minute, I'd appreciate it if you'd head on over to my journal and fill out the poll I've created for the essay.

I'd like to stress that I would like opinions from all Degrassi fans, regardless if you ship Craig/Ellie or not. In fact, it's imperative that I get opinions from people who don't ship Crellie even, so that I can get an unbiased and even view of the fandom. The essay will be Crellie, but I'd like to explain all sides of the ship and cover all my angles, and that includes getting opinions from people who are apathetic or against Crellie.
