A place for you to rant about Dir en grey fandom, from the elitists to the newbies, to the bad fanfic to the good fic, to the great icons and the really ugly, everything goes here! Feel free to rant about any Dir en grey fanwork here, from fanfiction to fanart, cosplays, websites, communities, the list goes on.
Just want to remind people that this ain't just a place to bitch and moan - if you know of GOOD FIC, ART or basically anything GOOD about the fandom, feel free to share recommendations for GOOD fanworks with us in the comm! Dir en grey fandom ain't all about the bad, after all.
Rules:
1. This is a RANT community. Which means you will be expecting people to sound angry, emotional, and basically sounding fed-up or in the midst of PMS. ^__^ But remember. While this is a place to express annoyance, let's rant for a reason and try to play as nice as possible.
2. Absolutely NO trolling or purposely being contrary just to rile people up. If I see a post that is a potential flamebait or trolling, I (or any of the mods) will reply with a subject that says MOD POST, which means absolutely NO new comments on the entry will be made after the MOD POST, and NO new entries about the topic shall be made either. The perpetrators who steered the entry to that ugly direction will get a warning, and if they resuscitate the topic or break yet another rule, they will instantly be banned.
3. If your rant is more than 3 paragraphs, PLEASE LJ-cut.
4. No linking to fanfics or fanworks within LJ. I'm not sure if this is really a violation of LJ's TOS, but other rant communities are being fried because of it, so it's best to keep ourselves safe. You can mention it but DO NOT link.
5. Once you've posted your rant, absolutely NO editing of the post, other than 1) grammar and speling errors, b) add a disclaimer.
6. When it comes to discussions about characterization, please don't reply and say 'You don't know them personally' or anything like that. Likewise, please don't state in your entry that 'I know the boys, I have been listening to Dir en grey for blah blah years so I know more than you do' or anything that sounds like that. NONE OF US knows Dir en grey or any of the members personally. No one here claims to.
7. Please DON'T fight here! If you had a fight or a personal disagreement with anyone from another comm or whatever, NOBODY HERE CARES, because that has nothing to do with Dir en grey. The mods closely monitor all posts here and if things start to become personal between rants or if people start fighting, the same that happens in rule number 2 will be followed.
8. Feel free to SPAM THE COMM with anything related to Dir en grey, jrock yaoi and stuff like that. I don't really care. XD
9. Absolutely no promotion of anti-anything! Anti-pairings, anti-Dir en grey member (T___T), you know the drill.
10. Feel free to spam and promote whatever into the comm. We don't mind. *shrug*
11. Absolutely NO whining about the mods. If you hate us, you have your personal journal, wank about us there.
