In case you were wondering who I'm salivating over musically these days, look no further. It's still The Presets. I mean, not as consistently as a couple of weeks ago, but GAH. I just wanted to thank all of you for the birthday wishes! You guys rule. Some more than others. Just kidding. Maybe. >_> Anyway, thanks again. And I'll have a real update at some point. xD ETA: I almost forgot! Since I couldn't find an Alice costume ANYWHERE(honestly, wtf), I had to order one offline. I figured my safest bet would be to go with the official Disney Shopping website. All of the other sites I looked at were pretty... questionable. Anyway, THIS is the costume I ordered! Isn't it adorable? I love it. Now all I need is a blonde wig and a black hair ribbon. I already have a pair of black shoes that would be perfect. Of a little bit of fun... prettyflamingo and I are going to have a little competition over at ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) icon_smackdown1. What we need to do this is someone impartial, or maybe just someone who knows both of us, to pick 5 pictures of pretty much anything (although for my own sake 2, and I hope Bonnie doesn't mind me saying this without checking with her first, adult themes are off limits) that we both have to make icons out of. We haven't worked out when we're doing this yet, so I just want to know if any of you are interested in doing this for the both of us. Of course, I'll keep you updated on how this goes because we'll need people to vote. 1I've only really set up the community in case anyone else wants to challenge either of us, but you never know who would want to join in.
2Staying away from my triggers would have been a fantastic plan, except that's practically impossible. So, I'm minimising what I end up seeing. Makes sense. Current Mood:  artistic |

Of Queen, and how I likes it... NEW QUEEN, I HAS IT! And it makes me happy. ( Here, have my best attempt at a track-by-track rundown... )And it does feel like a whole - even though I know I'll take my favourites and mix them up, I know that this is one of those albums I will listen to end to end when I do listen to it. Music to soothe. I was listening to my entire playlist, shuffled and random, and a song came on that immediately made me feel calm. Ever have that happen?
