| About: | Community info: Hello there, my name is ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} windwhisp, I started / maintain ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} deepstirrings. It was created for the purpose of sharing poetry, writings and creativity between friends. Poetry can be anything that inspires you, so please feel free to share haikus, short stories, long stories, novellas, jokes, pictures, artwork, moments of zen, meditations, dreams, etc - or if you'd like to discuss something, that's cool too! Tell us what you've been reading, share a book list or get recommendations for new stuff to read.The reason this community is so small is so that those of us who are intensely shy can share without blushing too terribly much. : ) *EDIT* I have since opened up the membership of this community to anyone who wants to join, please feel free! Dar /*EDIT* If you have a work in progress and want some feedback or opinions, post it! We'll be gentle, unless otherwise requested. There's a fabulous book called "Writing Down the Bones" by Natalie Goldberg, about zen and creativity, that I would highly recommend. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to improve this community (within reason... no, I cannot put up a disco-ball!) please let me know, email or Yahoo or post. Community rules: I don't think we really need any, but I do have a suggestion: While I can control who posts here I can't control who can read it, so if you're bashful or private, use the friends security setting. However, if you use the friends security setting you'll need to actually friend the community to be able to have the rest of us see your posts. : ) ~Namaste~ | |
