I'm chugging away at work on Chapter 2. I generally try to stay about 9 pages ahead of whatever up, but the last two weeks were full of some pretty intense artist's-block. I've recovered and Chapter 2 plunges on ahead. I hope you'll all enjoy it when it makes its sparkling debut on the main page.

Randomly, if anyone has any questions or comments on the comic, feel free to post them here. :) I love having feedback!

Since I don't want this community to be too quiet I decided I'd throw up miscellaneous Revolver art. There's an awkward portrait of Sperro drawn while I loitered in the grip of artist-block behind the cut, so view it if you dare.

REVOLVER CONTINUES

So Revolver, formerly known as 'Dulce Et Decorum Est' continues to chug along. It updates three times a week, and currently I have a buffer of about... oh, six weeks, though some of the upcoming pages of chapter two have taken significant chunks of time to do.

In the meantime, I've been doing some images of Dulce and Sperro. Follow the magic cut to see a portrait of Dulce as a teenager...

Yes, there are flaws. T_T;; I'm working on painting portraits without thick, blocky black lines. I hope you enjoy, all. I did realise that since the comic is black/white people would have no idea what colour Dulce's hair and eyes are. Yes, his eyes are yellow/golden and his hair is bright red. The curtain does match the drapes, so to speak. <3

I just finished reading Rana and for some reason I feel that Sperro is more mysterious than Dulce. I mean yeah Dulce is a half demon with that bad attitude we all love but is he really the mysterious one? The more I read the more it seems like Sperro is more of the main character than Dulce. But I can be wrong. I do like the fact that Ranna was added. I cant help but to think what Sperro did to be "excommunicated"? Im still wondering what that really is.

If that weren't so, I don't think I could handle it.

Also, people said in the last entry that Dulce was a cute teenager(he was) and that most teenagers are not. I remember once seeing an anti-drug poster that was happening all through the Commonwealth. It had a picture of a strung-out teenager, bags under his eyes, greasy hair, dressed in a hoodie and dirty jeans, all hunched over and looking generally malaide-ed. Beneath it, the caption read: Herione: IT SCREWS YOU UP.

... teenagers look like that already. :| I know I do, more or less.

Woo! Finally, RANA is finished. I was gonna upload this last night, but... I was far too tired. You know what happened at work? My manager hissed at me. Seriously. I was walking down and out the stairwell and she curls back her lips and hisses. Like a cat. Whe I asked her why, she just said, "I like your earrings."

My earrings are skull and crossbone earrings. I'm thinking it was a friendly "Hi, how are you?" hiss instead of a "I'ma eat yo face!" hiss. But all the same, why does everything in my life eventually turn into a circus?

Anyways, enjoy the end of RANA, and hopefulyl I shall see you all in Chapter 3.

I have a small change to make to the rules.

As mentioned previously, I don't mind people promoting art communities or comic communities in Decorum_Est--within reasonable bounds. However, doing something like trying to promote some kind of political agenda from either the right OR the left will result in instant bannination.

If I see one more "Not One Damn Dime" picture spammed to this community, I will personally ban the offending posters from joining or viewing the community. This is your final warning, and you know who you are.

Your political garbage, be it right wing or left wing, is not welcome here.

I'm sorry to be so aggressive, but I think I should make this clear.
