AuthorsNow! is getting in gear!

Hey Debs!

Dude, so sorry I have like fallen off the face of the earth, but yanno, between crazy revisions, juggling a newborn, and yelling at my husband constantly, I've been sorta busy!  And I still have a free-tique round to do over at cynthealiu.com. ANYWAY, I just wanted everyone to know for newcomers to the Debs and old, that I am now accepting content for Author pages on AuthorsNow!

If you have not yet heard of this lovely endeavor and you meet the criteria (any Deb should qualify), hop on over here and sign up to get your author's page:

Author Bio - Cynthea Liu

Name: Cynthea Liu

'09 Book Titles: PARIS PAN TAKES THE DARE, and THE GREAT CALL OF CHINA

Publisher: G.P. Putnam's Sons and Puffin

Favorite Bit of Writing Advice: "You don't have to read a lot to know how to write." I don't know who said it exactly, but I'm sure SOMEONE has said it. It goes against common sense, but when I can't get to reading myself, I just tell myself this. :)

Random Info About Me: I'm big into the show 24. In fact I am SO into Jack Bauer that I had to watch Season 6 on DVD while I was going into labor. I also like Brach's Gummies, Fun Dip, and Blow-Pops. On that last one, my editor made me write the candy out of the book because of the possibility of sexual innuendo. WHATEVER! :)

Synopsis for PARIS PAN TAKES A DARE: Twelve-year-old Paris Pan has moved to a small town where she has a real shot at making friends. But that friendship comes at a price. She must take The Dare, something that killed a girl on the very property she now resides. To make  matters worse, Paris must play basketball against her will, eradicate a crush on the least desirable boy in seventh grade, and cope with a family crisis that was possibly caused by a chili dog.
