Urban Dictionary's most accurate definition of the word: "a black actor or actress, who takes roles that stereotypically portrays black people. They think they've made it but they are slaves to the same images." It could be said that the people in the Burger King chicken fries commercial are coons. "Woo wee! Boy do I love me some chicken, where da Koolaid at?" Basically, this is a coon. People who partake in "cooning" feel like being seen and acknowledged (regardless of derrogatory reception and feedback) is better than not being seen and acknowledged at all. Even Margaret Cho said in her blog that "even though to me, a Japanese schoolgirl uniform is kind of like blackface, I am just in acceptance over it, because something is better than nothing."

Are you tired of thinking certain people are cool, until they start cooning? Don't you hate when stupid bitches begin not to act right? Don't you hate when people try to change themselves in order to indulge themselves into a certain "scene" or "fad"? Don't you hate when people drop their beliefs and their idenity in order just to make an extra million dollars, just by playing a sterotypical character that protrays who they are? A.K.A SELLOUTS.
