Evolution not playing well with Gmail
Just today I started getting odd errors with Evolution regarding IMAP errors via Gmail:

IMAP command failed: Unknown Mailbox: [Gmail]/All Mail (Failure)
IMAP command failed: UID not allowed now.

and other similar errors.

As far as I can tell, my mail is still being delivered properly, so this is really just a cosmetic problem for now.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this?

Oh, and I track Lenny, so this is in regards to evolution 2.10.3-1.

EDIT: The problem seems to be resolved by unchecking "automatically synchronize remote mail locally" in the receiving options tab.

Is this only happening with Evolution, or other email clients as well?

I've been seeing the same errors. My guess is that that's gmail's way of saying that you're checking your account too often. I typically see that error come up when I've been heavily using my account through Evolution for a few minutes.

Since Evolution doesn't support IDLE it actually does a fresh check of the account anytime you do... well... almost anything. Expunging a folder, switching folders, moving a message, writing a message, etc, all causes a manual check of the server. And I know that gmail is kind of particular about not checking your email more often than once every 5 minutes, so I just assumed that's why it was happening. I could be wrong, but it seems a likely culprit.
