skeletal debian I have just finished installing Debian to my thumbdrive. All is working fine, in fact that's what I'm posting from now, but it's taking up more space than I'd like. I'm looking for suggestions on how to trim down the storage and memory footprint.
So far I've got localepurge running, no man pages, and I've wiped /usr/share/doc. My packages are all fairly minimal (windowmaker desktop, built up from Debian From Scratch "minimal" favor.)
Would anyone like to suggest good ways to trim my storage and memory requirements without filesystem compression?
