[Compile] Kisuke, Aizen, Yoruichi, Ururu
Kisuke's hand fell to rest on the girl's head as she ran up to his side, and he tossed her a smile. The girl's usual enthusiasm to help him in any way she could was endearing, and that reminder of normalcy that he needed on such a day.

"No, I haven't even brewed it yet, we were just going in to have some. If you would, Ururu? And also Tessai-san hid the cookies again..." he hummed softly. He really should just watch the girl and see where she looked to find the cookies, but even if he found Tessai's current hiding place, the man would just find a new one. And process of elimination of hiding spots wasn't all that useful in this case. In Urahara Shouten, there were a number of places to hide things. As Kisuke well knew and took advantage of.

"After you have the tea ready, you're free to join us."

Taking the suggestion seat, Aizen said nothing more. There wasn't much to say anyway until their host returned. The catty woman didn't seem to be in much of a chatty mood which left the captain, to look about the interior of the Urahara Shouten.

It seemed like any normal abode with a small shop attached to it. Rather familial feel to it. Cozy, quaint, nondescript. The same with the shop area he'd briefly traveled across.

Yet Aizen knew there was more to this place, more to his man. This place was buzzing with secrets and an energy of clandestine activity. It had the same air that the twelfth division had once upon a time before Kurotsuchi made it into his den of scientific terror. It was almost nostalgic, and it made him curious about what Urahara was currently working on.

Yoruichi shifted a bit in her seating position to find comfort and realized that even through all these years, a kneeling position was the one she was used to. She kept a calm expression but scowled internally; the noble house habits were still worn on her body. She refused to sit that way, however, and stayed cross-legged, her hands on her knees.

She respected the silence that followed and wondered why Aizen had decided to come for a visit. Perhaps to say hello? Then again, Urahara was someone who would greet a welcome guest with a welcome he or she deserved. There hadn't been much of a commotion at this man's arrival. She decided that they may be old acquaintances (she knew Aizen's face from back in the day, after all) and that the tea would be, naturally and silently, dedicated to Unohana who served her duty until her death.

Everything made Yoruichi feel slightly guilty, really. Should she have stayed in Soul Soci-- no. She closed her eyes and repeated to herself in her mind, 'no.' She did not regret the path she had taken--not in the least.

Ururu nodded at Urahara's words. "All right!" He hadn't made the tea yet! She could make tea for him and his guests! Almost bouncing with glee, the little girl scampered towards the kitchen, making a beeline for her favorite little teapot -- it was shaped like a kitty cat, and had been a birthday present from the other Urahara Shouten residents. She quickly set the water to boil, and hurried for Urahara's favorite type of tea.

This was much better than before. No wallowing in the park (even if it was nice being pushed on the swing by Kuukaku); just helping Urahara in any way she possibly could.

She dug the cookies out of Tessai's hiding place (she wondered sometimes whether Urahara just pretended not to know where they were -- under the flowerpot really wasn't that hard to find!) and arranged them on a nice plate. The water ready, she put the tea in and pulled out a tray. She arranged the tea, cups, and cookies on it, and then carried it to where the guests sat.

[Ksiuke] Then let us make random noises! Mwah!

His cane tapping lightly on the floor as he headed into the room, Kisuke settled by the low table in a lazy kneel. Wordlessly he took his teacup from the tray Ururu carried when she entered the room. A cute little set of cups that matched the teapot, a gift to match the teapot Kisuke had given the girl on her last birthday.

The day she thought of as her birthday, at least. There were many days that could be considered her birthday. The day the thought of first create her entered Kisuke's mind. The day he finished the plans. The day she took her first breath. The day he completed work on her. The day he sent her out of Soul Society into the living world to survive and not be destroyed as the Chuu-ou 46 Shitsu decreed. The day he found her again after his exile.

Dates that were vivid in Kisuke's mind, but had yet to be mentioned to Ururu.

One day...

Glancing over as he sipped his tea, he noted Aizen looking about the place and smirked faintly. Ah right. The man had never been in his home. Very few shinigami had been, really. "So what was it you came to purchase today, Sousuke-san? And have a cookie, Yoruichi-san. You look far too... Well. You look like you need a cookie," the merchant said, tossing a glance to his old friend. There would be much to be said between the two old friends, two exiles. Later.

[Aizen] I think not

"Mm?" Looking away from the curiosities of the man's residence, Aizen turned to the merchant and smiled pleasantly enough. A brow quirked as Ururu stepped into the room. It was the same girl. The same unusual girl. Aizen's interest was on the girl, but he refrained from asking questions and instead picked off a cookie for himself. "Thank you, Ururu-kun." He turned to Kisuke and some how felt the man knew that his curiosity had been rankled and was expecting questions.

Yet Aizen asked nothing, nor would he. At least not in front of the girl and especially not to give Kisuke the satisfaction of being deliberately and annoyingly cryptic. "The usual supplies really. I also had a few questions about our recent sojourn into Soul society and wondered if you had anything to do with it."

Yoruichi grinned in Urahara's direction as she reached for the snacks Ururu brought. She nodded toward the small girl in thanks and indeed, grabbed a cookie to go with her tea. Times like these were supposed to make her calm and agreeable, but the last saying that came from Aizen made her look up. She had no hostility or confusion on her face; she simply had a questionable expression.

"Sorry to intrude, but we've been exiled for ages, Aizen, as you well know." The cat-woman paused, taking a sip of her tea and setting the cup down. "I was surprised myself when I heard about Seireitei." She wondered where this conversation might exactly lead them, but dismissed it as over-thinking the situation.
