Description: Ever since Near and co. threw out all of L's inheritance, they're quite poor and now they have to reside in a small apartment in Japan while they further investigate Kira. These are little stories about what takes place in this apartment. This is one of my favorite doujinshi ever because: Slice of Life + the SPK = Utter wonderful. I want to rave about it so badly, but I think it's best if you find out for yourself. ♥

Here's a question to anyone who used to scan either manga or doujinshi before. When you scan a book, how do you get to the parts near the book spine without destroying the book?

Any answer is appreciated.

p.s: I've heard of the practice of debinding the book with any heat source but is that a reliable and common practice?

Entry #1 by akito_aya! Guh, I have a huge soft spot for fairy tales, and this one is super adorable to boot *_* Lookit Matt on his tiny little pillow, and the tiny crown that'd probably fit around Mello's ring finger. Awww ♥ I also love the colours in this piece, so soft and wispy and lovely.

Entry #2 by charille! Look at the craftsmanship! Pose, characters involved, contrast between sketchy and super clean lines, and attention to detail! Those purple marriage of rainbow&rabbit trainers of Mello's make me so happy. Please note that the clouds are not stock photos, they're hand-drawn. And man oh man, I love that the handcuff chinks look like a telephone cord, eeee.

Entry #3 by deadtornwings! I really love your style. Mello's rosy chins, and those lush soft lips, and that neck, oh man oh man. I'd like to see more of your art, and I wouldn't mind if it's fanart or original art. I feel so soft and fluttery looking at this~

Entry #4 by lootas! This one, this one, ohhh. The atmosphere kills me, I love the thought of them taking a walk on a winter night cos they can't sleep, and they look kinda worn out, but... SO GOOD with each other. Their plan may be futile, but they're doing the right thing, and Matt's supportive hand behind Mello's back, ahhhh. This one made me want to run out in the streets and sing Christmas carols.

Entry #5 by spikeygal! AHAHAHAHAHAHA. What can I say! Lookit that neon colour combination! Big PENIS in bold! Bowling ball boobs and mustache doodled with flair! Chocolate bar that looks like a doodie (sorry)! Ahhh, it's not how I imagined the scene in my fic, this is 10 times better! Great effect combining art and text too, awesome!

Entry #6 by squigglymello! That is a GREAT hand, and I really adored how the bracelet looks so perfect and solid, and Matt's vest looks so soft and nearly as though he's fading away. Really like it. And I'm a big fan of Mello being all touchy-feely and Matt kinda awkward and shying-away - this piece pressed a lot of my buttons.

Entry #7 also by squigglymello! Cute, cute, cuuute! I always like cosplaying Mello, I like the artist's versatility, andand, traditional drawing and colouring? I admire :D

4 doujinshi on eBay

I've got 4 Death Note doujinshi on eBay right now, including Dizzy Melon's Toy Soldiers, two Tirol djs, and an anthology from 2005 with several circles. The auctions end in 2 days.

I got these from Mandarake when I went to Japan last summer, and the effort of moving them from one apartment to another made me realize I really didn't need to be carrying all this paper around. *twitch* So I'm selling off the ones I don't look at as much, hopefully to go to people who'll appreciate them more. :)
