“Stop fighting, you two, honestly!” Mrs Weasley yelled, pulling Ron and Ginny away from each other. “Just pretend there’s an invisible line right here.” She drew her finger across the floor. “Ginny, you can’t go onto Ron’s side; and Ron, you can’t go over to Ginny’s side.”

The method, although their mum tried it over and over for each of the Weasley children’s arguments, had never really worked. The fighting had always continued; they just stood at the very edge of their ‘side’, so that they were toe-to-toe.

So when Draco yelled at Ron one night to “budge over and stay off his side of the bed,” Ron couldn’t help but laugh. Draco had even shown him where the ‘line’ was that divided the bed in half (although, remarkably, Draco’s half was quite a bit bigger than Ron’s).

It was really no surprise, then, that shortly after Ron had fallen asleep (just on the border of his side of the bed), he felt something warm press up against him. He didn’t even bother to open his eyes; he just smiled and pulled Draco closer.
