Well, we skipped Week 3 because I was out of town. I hope people weren't too distraught ;)

So, since we did do a full book review of Philosopher, we'll just do a nice little catch up of Chamber today. Sound good?

Since I know we have some new people around (*waves* did you all introduce yourselves?), what we basically do in these weekly(ish) reviews is discuss any themes, plot points, etc. that cover more than one chapter. It's a good place to bring up things that you may want to mention when you first read them, but can't discuss an unread chapter yet.

Have at it! :)

Oops, I've missed a few days... however, if I'm not mistaken today is Chapter Six: Gilderoy Lockhard, which I just finished reading then. And I hope this doesn't bother anyone, but I'm going to throw a few of my notes from the last few chapters under a cut, too.

Chapters 3, 4 and 5 )
And now, Chapter Six! )

Not many notes on our latest chapter but I'm loving reading this book again. I've also just gotten my friend to join the countdown. Unfortunately she doesn't have LJ. :o(

I've never posted in this community before so I think I'll start this with an introduction. My name is Susan, I'm 18, and this is my favorite community that I'm a part of. I love all of you, and I wanted you to know that. This being said, I have a little bit to say about everyone's favorite red haired twins and I thought this was a good chapted to put it in. Cut for convenience. )

Once again I am doing this without seeing what other people have written first, so forgive the overlap. I'm made this post as spoiler-safe as I can, for those on their first read-through. I also want to take this opportunity to say how vastly I prefer the Stephen Fry audiobooks to the Jim Dale ones. Stephen does a perfectly marvelous job on all the voices. Jim Dale often makes me want to beat my head against the wall.
