Hey guys, I'm about to come across some money to use and I'm really wanting to buy some Death Note doujinshi. I'm specifically looking for any Balgus REC that involve Light and any good-looking Ryuk/Light or Light/Matsuda doujinshi. I'm hoping for reasonable prices but I know it can be hard to find Balgus REC at a small price.

So, whether or not its a trusted online seller or someone on here wanting to get rid of their doujinshi, I would love for someone to point me in their direction or contact me by commenting on this post. I REALLY want these badly and I'm hoping someone can supply.

Actor Zac Efron (High School Musical, Hairspray, Me and Orson Welles) answered a question from the Collider.com website regarding his possible involvement in a film adaptation of the Death Note suspense manga. Efron said, "I love Death Note, and we were, kind of, working on it right now. You know, it's not…it's definitely not something that would be coming up soon. [Turns to Me and Orson Welles director Richard Linklater] What's the classic answer, Rick? 'It's not on the front burner.' No, no, it's something that was … I feel like, regardless of whatever I say, it's going to [interpreted by the media to] be my next movie. No, it's not. It was an idea. Who knows? I had a meeting on it."



Vertigo Entertainment revealed in 2008 that it was developing a remake of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note story and had hired Vlas and Charles Parlapanides to write the screenplay. In the hit manga, a teenager finds a notebook with which he can put people to death by writing their names. He begins a self-anointed crusade against the criminals of the world, and a cat-and-mouse game begins with the authorities and one idiosyncratic genius detective.

The Hollywood Reporter newspaper revealed in April that Mandalay Pictures acquired the live-action film rights to another manga/anime-related property: Shoji Gatoh's Full Metal Panic! light novels. As a self-professed "huge comic book and manga fan," Efron acknowledged at the time that he had a meeting on the Full Metal Panic! project but noted it is not "likely" to happen.

With great amusement, people at 2ch have noticed a recently released shoujo version of Death Note called "Hal" (pronounced Haru, like Halle Lidner).
The main girl looks like a female (and shoujo style) version of Light, and she meets a shinigami (bishounen this time) in very similar circumstances. The plot seems to also involve she wanting to kill people with the help of her shinigami.

If you scroll down in the link I posted above, you'll find bigger versions of the pages. I'm not an expert in the first arc, but I think that some of those panels look really similar to some Light and Ryuuk scenes. The Shinigami is also seen reading Jump magazine in one of the panels.

Some of you guys may remember this post.

Well, I need some more help, but this time from the creative side of the field. Basically, I don't have any good video editing programs. I have windows movie maker and that's it. Since I'm perfectionist about most everything, I'm hoping someone out there can help me with my project and edit the video so it looks as close to the original as possible. I'm primarily concerned with the times that Light's eyes are red. I do not have red contacts (I actually don't have brown contacts right now either, but hopefully they'll be here in time..if not, you may have to edit my eyes to be brown the entire video as well) and I definitely have nothing to make my eyes GLOW like in the laughing scene. Right now I'm trying to find someplace that looks like the inside of the warehouse (or at least has the right lighting and backdrop) and it'd be a HUGE help if this stress could be off my mind. I'm already mostly done memorizing the speech, thank god, but it's the little things that are bugging me (a bit OCD, forgive me ;_; ).

So, is there anyone out there with Vegas or some similar program who could possibly do good video editing on a deadline? Preferably without pay as I'm currently struggling to just have enough money for the contacts and a used suit from Goodwill, which is saying I'm basically broke. Since I haven't got all the supplies yet OR the backdrop, you'll likely have to work fast. The video has to be done by Thanksgiving and I'll work hard to get my part done fast enough for you to have enough time for editing. I can likely splice the scenes together correctly if you can just do the special effects. It would be a GREAT help.
