Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy were in a quandry. They'd just committed murder, and needed someplace to hide. Their good buddy, the Dark Lord, had just the place.

You see, the lovely Sarah happened to owe the Dark Lord a favour. And she had a nice, big, empty house in a mainly Muggle area.

So Severus and Draco were sent to live there. After all, it's not like Sarah was using those empty bedrooms.

But Severus, having arrived several weeks before Draco, grew tired of having nothing to do but watch telly. A genius idea struck him: He'd host an advice column, and give poor saps some words of wisdom. Sarah agreed with the idea, and offered to help out. Read on, and see what problems this trio can help you with.


Severus Snape: An irritable, yet lovable, ex-Potions Master slash Professor. Gifted with unimitable snarkiness, he'll answer your problem with complete honesty.

Sarah: The honey to Snape's vinegar. The sweet to his sour. The one who keeps him from biting... hard. In other words, his perfect foil.

Draco Malfoy: They don't get much more pampered than this. Draco's snotty, mean and childish. He's also a bit perverted, and quick to write his daddy about absolutely anything that irritates him. Luckily for Sarah and Snape, dear old Lucius isn't talking to his son.


I. Learn to read us right. Snape will always be represented in white, bold font. Sarah will always be in a white, italic font. Draco will always be a white, underlined font.

II. Want to ask a question? No problem. E-owl us at Dear Snape.

III. When you write your letter, close it with a Dear Abby-like alias.

IV. You can ask your problem as anyone you can think of.

V. Always check the memories. We save every entry, chronologically. Highlight the answer to read it.

VIX. Hey, guess what. Sarah did not create Snape or Draco; they were thought up by J.K. Rowling. However, Sarah does play them in this column, and damn, is she good at it.
