DAS Holiday minicon 2007!
Well, despite other events going on in the area at the same time, we had an awesome turnout of over 50 people (as usual)...and our resident Mormon (we call him Mormon Dave because there are several Dave's in the club) won the grand prize of the Guitar Hero III deluxe bundle from Red Octane!




(Joe aka our token 'black santa' had some pants issue and declined from the role this year but luckily we had slagpit stepping in as the token 'white (rein)deer in the headlights Santa? LOL)

Our raffle table was put together by the awesome deeblite/Bob/DAS PA Chapter VP and his girlfriend Melissa:


paulioshi brought his "Rock Band" and everyone had a blast playing it, along with Wii games like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Bleach: Shattered Blade,GHIII on Wii, and the classics of Super Smash Bros (on gamecube), and of course DDR Supernova/Supernova2!

Brian and teflon_tim did a great job doing their fan favorite panel of "Bad Anime Bad" at the end of the night, too!

Of course there was Karaoke, raffle, sitting on Santa's Lap (Although Jackie/annieacid looks kinda like she's farting on Santa who seems to be passed out?!? LOLOL)

and the traditional "Menorah/Jewish Table" set up by Dusti, and let's not forget the standard DAS Card sharks!

We also picked up a bunch of teenagers who were already celebrating one of their 16th birthday at the Doubletree Hotel already!
CLICK, they hit the karaoke, game room and 'Bad Anime Bad' hard and had alot of fun it seems!


After the minicon a bunch of us went out to dinner at like midnight/1am to the Golden Castle Diner in Wilmington...and much more fun was to be had. Overall I had a fabulous time and all of my local best friends were there so how much more could I ask for? Not much.

P.S. tntoxfox is now the "Pocky Queen" as her Secret Santa gift consisted of 3 differnt types and sizes of pocky! LOLOL
