| About: | Based on Jeff Lindsay's novel "Darkly Dreaming Dexter," this new crime thriller tells the story of a strange man named Dexter Morgan. Once an abused and abandoned child, Dexter is now a successful forensics pathologist, but lurking just beneath his charismatic personality is a terrible truth. Dexter has corralled his innate homicidal urges into a closely guarded second career: he hunts down and brutally murders those vicious criminals that have managed to avoid the clutches of the law. COMMUNITY RULES: The full community rules can be found here. In a nutshell, anything that relates to either the series Dexter or Jeff Lindsay's novels is fine. Any discussion topics are welcome, as well as photos and other media, fanfiction, icons and any similar fannish contributions. The one thing we do not allow is episode downloading in any form: this includes download links, torrent links and any discussion of downloading. The other important rule which may not be obvious is that all spoilers must be put behind a clearly labelled LJ cut. A spoiler is categorised as information about an episode that has not yet aired in the United States. Beyond that, all you really need is common sense and courtesy.
