Well... I'm currently on vacation and clearly bored out of my mind. So, I was browsing the TVGuide channel last night when I caught this Soaps' Sexiest Women special thing. It had Shelley Hennig, so that immediately caught my attention when she was on the screen! Anyway, I caught the end of it, and this morning they had Soaps' Sexiest Men up! Anyway, I got the names down (rather, I got the names of those from Days for the women list, then got most of the names from the men list). So, here we go, behind cuts. :D

Why are there so many people having issues with Daniel/Chelsea, when there aren't the same arguments with John/Ava or Kate/EJ (back when they were bumping uglies)? There has to be a greater age difference. I know Ava and EJ are older than Chelsea, but there's a good 10 years more difference with those couples.

Oh, and are they gonna get rid of Ava by sending her to jail.

Question and Comments, regarding Tuesdays show, behind the Cut.

Ok, another ho-hum-de-drum DAYS.
Bo, as always is wearing his heart on his shoulder and making it clear to everyone that something is wrong. It's also been two days of having to hear about how Hope is working long hours. Which brings me to my first question.
Ok, so I there was a large gap where if EJ and/or Sami or Stephano weren't on the show, I - - - well, I kind of didn't bother to watch... I am sorry, I am just being honest. :::wince:::
So who is that little girl that is Bo and Hope's daughter? When was she born, is she their biological daughter? I am so confused, and the fact that she appears to be older than Zack, who didn't pass away THAT long ago, I am just so bloody confused.

Chelsea and Daniel are just plain creepy. Moreover, seriously, how many times does Kate have to run into Daniel? I am starting to believe that she is stalking him.
Twenty bucks says Daniel sublets Sami's place. Any takers?

Morgan's father may be dead. :::Yawn:::
Phillip is feeling guilty, well at least we know he still has a heart, even if it is "three times to small."

I am kind of lost on the Abe and Lexie issues. Does Abe still not believe his child is autistic? Is it just me or does it kind of seem like Lexie is over reacting while Abe is under reacting?

Ok, so this is my biggest question(s)
So on the train to Somewhere in France, what was that flash back Stephanie had where it looked like her panties were being ripped off?
I am only confused because she awoke and said, "I had the strangest dream..." to whom she believed was Max only to find some weird guy trying to be French but said "Si" in the context of "yes” which, last time I checked, is Spanish.
Anyhow, did that weirdo rape her or was that a flash back to when she was raped by Ford Decker?

Intro. I've been watching Days for about 11 years. I'm a major soap fan and write letters etc. Would really like to be involved here, but I'm ususally a little behind on watching.

A fun thing to do I've done in other communities is to ask the questions from Soap Digest.I hope this is ok. If you had to live in a house with three of your co0stars fora reality show, which three would you pick???Max answered from the show-Chelse, Morgan and Stephnie. I thought that was cute.

I'd pic Sami because I've always loved her and she'd stir things up. Marlena, for voice of reason. John just because and two more Kate and Max. I couldn't stop at 3

Just Another Manic Monday On DAYS

Is it just me or did anyone feel a little disappointed by Monday's DAYS?
I think reality is starting to soak in for Sami.
Kayla and Steve, wow I thought we were long, long past Ava.
Finally, as much as I like Ava, no! Not John.

The only things that made Monday's DAYS worth while was Johns conversation with Sami about Marlena. He claimed that there was nothing there between he and Ava. He seemed to be speaking the truth. This lead in for the end of Robo John and the return of John and Marlena. Kayla and Steve's reaction to the concept of Ava living in Sami's old appartment was completly normal. However, what the hell was up with Steve being naked with Ava. That happened forever ago, and Kayla decides that now, months later, that the topic should be brought up?! Whatever. Marlena and Roman, together, is starting to creep me out. Everytime I see them together I keep wondering if they are going to suddenly start "growing closer." There will be bloody hell to pay from, most, if not all, DAYS fans.

Finally, we come to Sami. Man did she get verbally kicked around today! However, Chloe is right, to a point. Sami's love aka "feelings" for EJ did help send Lucas over the edge. However, she didn't ask him to tamper with his ankle bracelette and sneek outt of the house. I just felt as if there wasn't any real meat to the show today. I mean, the Olympics are just around the corner, I figured we'd be getting better stuff! I don't know, it was a decent episode, just not filling.

BTW--- I am not completly for sure, but I honestly believe that Kayla and Steve's apartment is EJ's old place. I swear if it says #36 ( I watched a lot of youtube today) I am really going to be puzzeled. I mean, it's ok for them to rent from EJ but Ava across the street, hmm.

Please, just everyone blame Sami for everything. It's the old-new thing to do!!

At this point, I'm surprised they don't have her character start to have serious issues (think eating, drinking, suicide, etc.)

Chloe: It's totally YOUR fault Lucas is going back to jail.
Nicole: It's YOUR fault Sami. Blah, blah, blah.
EJ: It's all your fault, sweetheart. BTW - I'm making you out to be an unfit mother in the process.

Oh, who else am I missing? Probably everyone she runs into on the street.

Of anyone, Roman said the smartest thing. Sami should be done with both of them (EJ and Lucas).

Now, I do favor EJ over Lucas.........why? Because he saw through her from the start. But I'll be very disappointed if he really has given up on Sami.

But this stupidity that everything is "Sami's fault" has really gone all high school drama. Had I been Sami, I would have clocked Chloe in the face and responded, "WTF does it matter to you if I said anything to EJ? It isn't your business, it is mine. And Lucas is a grown man; he makes his own choices......like taking a gun and shooting someone in the back (then lying to me about it), purposely messing with his ankle bracelet (and lying about that too) and...........oh yeah, screwing and easy piece in an elevator."

Plus, Sami has two twins to deal with. And this situation with EJ. She's stuck in a house she hates, watching her step-father tool around with someone other than her mother, having meals cooked from the town devil's assistant all while not dealing with her own personal issues. Her eldest son won't come home, her mom moved out.............and so on and so on.

Sami, I give you credit for taking all the BS from everyone. Your day will come.

PS - Whenever I hear the Foo Fighters, I think of Lucas. Anyone else have this issue?

Um, nooo--the baby didn't almost die because Steve couldn't tell you about Ava--the baby came early and almost died because you wouldn't settle down and relax no matter how many times your family and the doctors told you too.

Kayla needs a good smack in the face sometimes.

Ok, it's late and I have to work in five hours but here I am blogging about last Fridays, June 18, 2008, Days of Our Lives.

Where to Start? Well I am going to break it down like so:

MARLENA // ROLF
Hehe, Rolf's incognito was bloody funny! He looked like he'd seen a few too many episodes of the Soprano’s.
Then his cover, making pottery?! Classic! I mean I am laughing just typing about it! I also liked Marlena's I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. I have to admit though, when Rolf said, "I don't trust you." I had about the same reaction as Marlena did. I mean come on,
who can't trust Marlena. However, honestly if I were Rolf, I'd more than likely trust Robo John more too. Hey, he's all good as long as you don't cross him.

NICOLE // AVA
Man, I can't stand the idea of Ava with John but :::stomping feet::: I really like the Ava character, bloody writers! They could have easily hooked her up with Phillip; she's way better than that bloody snooze fest Morgan. I loved how after Nicole said something like, "Well, at least you don't have to deal with Marlena's evil daughter Sami." Ave went on a funny little rant about Marlena, who was kind of in earshot. Yet what drives me nuts is how Nicole delivered her confession during the commercial break, how bloody convenient. I am still sad that Ava will be no more; I really like seeing that crime-creating duo together. I am sure Ava will be back, right?

ROMAN // LUCAS // SAMI
Ok, for starters, I think I must have missed something. I mean I re-wound several scenes several times, but I couldn't figure out why Lucas has decided to head off to Maximum Security. Could someone clue me in on this? Wow, some great acting though out these segments! Sami and Lucas we just spot on. She kind of held her cool, but there were far to many Chloe darts, flying out of Sami. Like, seriously Sami, why, why, why must you keep throwing Chloe in his face? I mean, clearly she's daft. Sami is deeply in love with another man, EJ, while clinging on to the childhood love of Lucas. I mean come on! She made love to EJ! Who is she to freak out about Chloe?! She should have simply added continued focus on the fact that he needed to be focused on the children an, if you will, continued "What about the children?" moment. However, score for EJ fans when Lucas stated that Sami was unwilling to admit that EJ was a mistake*

**Ah! Lumi fans, before you even start, I still have this on my Dish DVR, she didn't argue or deny to Lucas that she did. Which brings me to...

ROBO JOHN // EJ // SAMI
I don't really understand how that judge is going to put Robo John back into good standings with the community, furthermore, I don't really understand why EJ and Robo John would care. Every scene between these two was just priceless. I could take up an entire page on these two so I will try really hard to keep this short. OK the whole, short circuit television discovery was funny, "You wouldn't believe what's happened in here." Tehe. Anyhow, to the meat of the story, it was an interesting conversation about, "What are you going to do about Samantha." It was very subtly revealing about both men’s feelings for the women that hold their respective hearts. EJ tried so hard not to play his hand, but while failing to conceal the truth turned it around on John and his love for "Blondie" Robo John, definitely played his hand much better, and sort of paved the way for the Ava betrayal. Such a shame. The entire time Robo John continued to play with the chessboard, ala Stephano. Sami's arrival was cute. Coughing through John's smoke and looking for Rolf, without explaining why. Man she tried to get under EJ's skin, he held his game face much better with her, but he slipped when she said that she would never forgive him, his face just dropped and he covered it by drinking his whatever. That was some seriously good acting. However, here's where I am lost again. What is she not forgiving him for this time? Nicole or the court order? I am a little miffed there. The closing scenes between EJ and Robo John were just creepy and uncomfortable. Why was EJ looking somewhere behind John with a disconnected concerned look while he was patting John on the back? Robo John still doesn't trust EJ, mostly because John "googled himself" to discover all of the wrongs EJ had done to him in the Stephano days. Finally, what a creepy close to the show with Robo John's checkmate. Super creepy... and I liked it! I still say that if were going to bring Stephano back, it would be cool if the DiMera force were Robo John, EJ and Stephano. Well, at least for a month. I miss old John and I really liked nice guy EJ.

Ok I really better sleep, it's 2:47 here! I am looking at 3 hours of sleep here!

All right time for my obsession with Days of Our Lives.

Ok, so I do like how EJ is being all protective with Nicole but there is still an "ew" factor going on here, because I honestly believe he's meant for Sami. On the flip side, through a conversation with Marlena and Roman, we learned that Sami is living in "Lala Land" and honestly believes that she and Lucas are going to work things out. Wow, EJ was so very right when he told Sami that she was living in a dream world and needed to wake up. I hope EJ doesn't become completely evil again, like he worked so hard to redeem himself to just blow it all away and I really don't want Johnny to be another demented DiMera. However, it was interesting when "Robo" John said something about not trusting EJ. EJ's response was so classic; [Confused look with head cocked to the side] "Excuse me?" I feel like that was a pivotal moment.

Oh, Bo, oh Bo. How could he hand that take over to Victor and protect Phillip. I know that blood is thicker than water, but the consequences are going to be unimaginable. Of course, psycho over protective Kate was there to take control of the situation and destroy the tape. Dumb, dumb Kate. Hasn't she destroyed enough of her children's lives? I'm happy she messed with Sami and Lucas, I wasn't at the time but in hindsight, I am for we would have never had Ejami, but come on psycho give it a rest.

Finally, I can't wait for the whole Trent/Nicole thing to roll out. For whatever reason the suspense is killing me. Also, I can hardly wait for Joseph Mascolo to return as Stefano DiMera aka the Phoenix; I think things are about to get really interesting. Ooo, it won't happen but wouldn't it be neat to see John and Stefano working together? At least for a couple of months.

Lastly, I searched the pages of photobucket and found a coolio Ejami banner and re-did my layout. Does anyone know the protocal for crediting images found on the net? Should I just credit the photobucket user name? Anyhow I think it looks pretty.

Having acquaintance with the Kiriakis' (Victor), the Vitali's (Ava) & the DiMera's (E.J.), you would think Nicole wouldn't be so worried about this Trent guy. She definitely has some friends to back her up if she needs it!! I know a couple of them offered, so why in the world wouldn't she take it when Trent is trying to control her life? I know he's holding a secret over her but I'm sure she could find something to "shut him up". Doesn't make much sense...

Nicole and Trent -- My first Post

Ok so I am a few episodes behind with my DVR from Dish.
I am currently on the episode where Nicole is signing her divorce papers.
I am thinking, and this may be a real long shot but it is soap land.
I am thinking that Trent's daughter is Nicole's daughter or half sister, something like that.

Yeah I've totally changed my tune. James Scott is such a brillent actor. I wonder why he's only made it big in the world of Soaps.
Sami Brady has always been my fav bad girl with Kristen a very close second.
I have been cheating on my back logged days and heared EJ mention Susan and Edmund. Wouldn't it be grand if they brought them back, even if it was just for one show?

A quick couple of questions. Are there any DOOL mood themes out there?
Does anyone have any really good Ej or EJ/Sami icons?

Sami rant and some qqs

I am so sick of Sami being mean to EJ and thinking everything wrong that happens to her or her life is other people's fault!!!

She slept with EJ she told him she had feelings for him and now she's mad because Lucas slept with Chloe???? Seriously??

She started a food fight for heavens sake! And EJ was right, nice way to treat her grandmother's establishment.

She then told EJ that they'd never be together and to leave her alone and then has the gall to be mad because EJ and Nicole had sex? MAKE UP YOUR MIND WOMAN!

And last I am so glad EJ is taking her to court over Johnny, I am tired of her holding it over EJ's head. So far he's been a really good daddy, better than Lucas for Ally, he ditched being a parents for a good screw. And Sami just can't take EJ's son from him.

And a couple other things:
What exactly is going on with Nicole and Trent is it?? I've missed some of that, how weird is it that Max's father has shown back up.

Do we know how Kayla and Steve's son is? Is he home from the hospital yet??

Did anyone else think that the guy that broke up the food fight looked a little like Brady?

I usually look forward to the Independence Day episodes of DOOL because of the Brady-Horton picnic. I was quite disappointed in this years episodes. It didn't seem like there were very many people there.

Alison Sweeney has found her character Sami Brady pregnant twice on Days of Our Lives and now that the 31-year-old is expecting her second child in real life, she is wondering if it will be written into the show.

"I'd feel bad if the crew had to hide my pregnancy for months and months. Besides, Sami just gave birth to twins. What's one more?"

Did anyone else fall over laughing when Kate said "You know, I don't usually sleep around."? Kate, you used to be a whore!

I also find it disturbing that when a guy is having problems dealing with his feelings with Chelsea, they sleep with her Mom or Grandma. I guess her next boyfriend will have to deal with his feelings by boinking Bo.
