COME SEE THE MUSICAL!
Hello Davidsonians,

As one of the stage managers of "She Loves Me" (this semester's mainstage theatre production) I am taking this opportunity to forward a message from Ann Marie Costa (chair of the theatre department) regarding the production. I hope many of you will attend!!!

Dear Students,

As the director of our fall musical, She Loves Me, I'd like to invite you to attend one of the performances. If you were to take the story of “You’ve Got Mail,” give it memorable characters, timeless charm, magical songs, and a touch of sweet nostalgia, then you’ve got the Theater Department’s production of She Loves Me.

We expect the show to sell-out on Friday and Saturday evenings because of Family Weekend, so please get your tickets early (see below for ticket info.). On Wednesday and Thursday evenings, there will be a $2 ticket discount.

There are many wonderful student actors/singers/dancers involved in this production including nine first-year students. As always, our students so appreciate your coming out to support them. I know I am a bit prejudiced but I think they are doing really wonderful work. Their names are: Josh Carson, Douglas Clark-Brown, Ryan Creighan, Desiree Domo, Kelsey Formost, Robert Galloway, Emily Gurskis, Michael Harkins, J. Stuart Harrell, Lauren Heinze, David Kerns, Bryant Kirkland, Suzanne Lenz, David McClay, Kim Murphy, Virginia Neisler, Alea Skwara, Hanley, Smith, Athena Stevens, and Morgan Wright. Add to this, some key student players behind the scenes including Emily Bostian, Erica Cribbs, Moira McCormick, Amy Trainor, and Joe Gardner's Fundamental of Design class. We also have our own Dr. Durwin Striplin playing one of the lead roles and Jacque Culpepper is serving as our Assistant Music Director.

Our design team includes Joe Gardner, who was recently received the 2005 Best Set Design award by the Metrolina Theatre Association for a professional Charlotte production of Beauty and Beast. The other members of the production team include: Eddie Mabry (choreographer, recipient of the 2005 Best Choreography Award with MTA), Donna Conrad (costume designer), Ronnie Higdon (lighting designer/ TD), Ryan Clark (sound designer) to name a few.
