it's been brought to my attention that "dear heaven" is something that was unreleased. i didn't realize this at the time, or else i would've made a big deal about it! i grabbed the mp3 from the site and you can download here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/rjv6o4


in one of david's myspace blog entries from late 2006, he mentions a photoshoot with randi kampeter. naturally, my next move was to google randi kampeter, and...

not really familiar with all his pre-idol stuff (i've actually been buying on itunes and restraining from downloading, for the most part), but it has a very axium sound to it

oh lord, thank you for posting this stuff!

though it really does help me to realize how much i like the new hair in comparison to the old comb-over look. it just looks...idk...a bit greasy.

agreed! i remember thinking he was pretty good in the beginning, but i was totally behind michael johns and wasn't attracted to DC.

but when he debut that new haircut dolly parton week... OH BABY. and he just keeps looking better and better.

That website is neat. I aww'd out loud when I saw the little gif of what looks like a Les Paul [i think?] spinning with the caption "The guitar I want." The pictures are pretty awesome, too... I love the silhouettes.

Actually it's a Fender Stratocaster. LOLZ. I was just playing mine like five minutes ago. Aside from his acoustic guitars, I've only seen him play one electric on Idol, which is his white Les Paul. :D

haha actually, that's been bothering me too! i first found it via a link on a forum (proabably idolforums) to one of his entries, and that let me read the rest.

This is such an awesome find, I have no words!
The song is probably an early track, I guess not one intended for AH... it doesn't sound like anything on that record, much closer to the Axium stuff.
The site looks like an early try for a promotional site for his upcoming CD, obviously before he changed the name to "Analog Heart".
Sorry if this has already been said in other comments, I'm too excited to read, had to post my thoughts.

Just adding that the site was made in 2004, so I'm guessing the "Dear Heaven" is actually an Axium song that hasn't been used on "The Story Thus Far", and has nothing to do with "Analog Heart".

I checked out a few of the other sites on that page and I am proud to say that, from a very objective standpoint, David's one is the BEST. The roses are so pretty, and his page doesn't have cheesy-looking graphics like some of the others have. OH MY GOD, DAVID IS A GENIUS!

The pictures: Where's the sexy lace underwear? :P But thanks for finding them and posting; they're GREAT. I totally love the last one. He's so pretty.

i verily agree!

the work itself (the animated gif, knot, puzzle, etc) are pretty standard for that kind of class, but man, the design of the site itself is beautiful! especially compared to the other students' pages...
