Welcome to the David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson icontest! This is a community where fans of these two actors can stretch their creative muscle, in friendly art contests. Each week, a new contest will be posted, where some photos are posted, and you have to make an icon out of them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| RULES |
+ Icons must fit LiveJournal icon standards, ie. 100X100 pixels and under 40kB. + Icons MUST be your own work, and created especially for the contest, or they will be disqualified. + Icons cannot be posted anywhere until after that week's contest is over (this includes posting them in your user pics). Please host your own pictures, at a site such as http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com which are both free and easy to use. + Post your submissions in IMG SRC and URL-format. It should look like this:
+ Please do not hotlink, or steal anyone else's icons. If you would like to use an icon in competition, please post a comment, and I will get in touch with the icon maker. + Don't vote for your own icons. If we see that you do that, all your submitted icons will be disqualified. Also, do not get people to vote for you in these contests, it's just tacky. + Follow the rules posted in each competition. + Most importantly of all, have fun! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
