About:Welcome to Darque Arts. This community is for people who share an interest in dark, gothic, or fetish art & photography. If your looking for free porn or a place to post massive amounts of headshots or extremely uncreative images then this is not the place. How ever if you are looking to enhance your creativity and or take it to another level, or maybe learn some techniques or ideas. Feel welcomed to browse through the group. If you find it interesting or it is your forte, then please feel free to join the group.

  1. Do not violate the Live Journal Terms of Service or you will be banned and reported.
  2. Do not post mean, rude, degrading, or insulting comments. Any offending post will be deleted.
  3. Excluding the posts of a first time member, PLEASE Do not post entries without images or links to images.
  4. Excluding short poems IN an image, Don't post long poems, prose, rants, personal journal entries, auctions, quiz/test results, rating communities, or links to them. Links to personal websites are allowed if accompanied with an image.
  5. Don’t post or link to risqué or nude images of people under 18.
  6. Don’t post images hosted by services that don't permit offsite image posting or extremely limited bandwidth. Such posts will be deleted as soon as the image is no longer viewable.
  7. Don’t steal/copy/borrow/take/link/etc. other people’s images, artwork, or text without a notarized written permission. Violators will be banned and reported to abuse@livejournal.com without additional warning.
  8. Please use cut tags if you plan to post multiple pictures or if your images are not work safe, if you don't know how you can go to the Cut Tag FAQ!

Repeat offenders of above rules will be banned from the community.

This community is for the posting of creative gothic or fetish images. You are allowed to post candid images, including those not of a gothic or fetish nature. Types of pictures NOT allowed are follows:

  1. Images taken by holding a camera in front of a mirror - a few stores such as walmart sell inexpensive Tripods, if you are unable to afford a low cost tripod, ask a friend or family member to take it for you.
  2. Images of someone in a shower or bath tub with fake blood just splattered on you - These types of images have been over done in a highly uncreative manner and do not look good, however it will be allowed IF and only IF it is done creatively.
  3. Images of masturbatory acts or of a masturbatory nature. Nudity and light sexually posed images are accepted, but rubbing your naked crotch is not artistic, but considered porn, and we are not here for free porn. If you are looking for free porn there are plenty of places on the net.
  4. No repeated or duplicate posts, of any kind, be it an identical post you made last month. This includes posting a set of pictures and post again an hour later with almost identical images .



Themes will be posted a week in advance by the Community Moderators at the beginning of each week. You do not have post on theme, but are urge to do so.
