draco_Insygnus@comcast.net AboutGreetings and welcome to Dark Ramblings, a community for dark poetry, short stories, thoughts, and of course, ramblings. The over all theme of this community is the "dark side" to life. Here, poems of depression, death, suicide, pain, suffering, heartbreak, and so much more are placed. That also includes drawings or photography. If you are to join, I ask, as the community owner/maintainer, that you place only things dealing with the theme within its entries. All are welcome to join, though first posts are moderated by the owner himself. When posting for the first time, I ask that one tells a little about themselves to let the rest of us get to know you a little better.
Now, this community was made in late November of 2002. It has become a sanctuary of sorts for all of us to remove ourselves from the real world, where we may get away from our daily lives, from the use of our regular journals, to read the writings of others like ourselves, to be amongst those that are like-minded, and to find a place where flaming, disrespect, and rude comments are not to be found. Below one will find the community rules, ways to contact the maintainer. So in ending, enjoy the community, the writings placed within, and the company of all that have become members.
Community Rules:
1. ANY PROMOTIONS, LINKS, OR OTHER SUCH THINGS FOR COMMUNITIES OTHER THAN WRITING OR PHOTOGRAPHY ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHIN THIS COMMUNITY. FURTHER MORE ANY OF THOSE ABOVE COMMUNITIES WHICH ARE BASED ON JUDGING ARE ALSO NOT ALLOWED. I have mentioned this before in other entries, as well as reformated the community rules many times to deal with this. If any are found, seen or heard of, the entries in which they have been placed in will be deleted, reguardless of whether they have poetry or other content within them. I'm sorry but I hate seeing communities just spammed with meaning ads that have nothing to do with writing or artistic photography or artwork.
2. If you are making a journal entry that may be rather long, or contain pictures of adult content, I ask that they be placed within the lj-cut tags. If one wishes to know how to make those, I suggest you look at the FAQ to find out.
3. Any flaming, rude comments, anger towards other members, etc. will NOT be tolerated, and the comment will be deleted and the poster of the comment warned once and only once. If said thing happens again, they will be removed and banned from the community. If someone does this, and I don't see it, email me at Draco_Insygnus, so I may be informed of it.
4. This is a community for those who write, draw, or do photography. There is a theme for the community that pieces be of a dark nature. They don't all have to be dark, but it is incouraged. Art is art, and I like seeing all forms of it.
5. If you have any ideas, questions, or other things that come to mind, feel free to e-mail the maintainer at: Draco_Insygnus
