1. What drew you to the community?
     The title, this community was in the affiliates of <"lj user="_bewitched_"> and I had to click     because of the name. Though when I read what it was about that also drew me to it. I love things that explore the darker side of things and would love to see what wonderful and creative ideas people can come up with. I might even have to write something myself.

2. What's your favorite ship/s to sail/read/draw?
     Any ship involving Hermione, Narcissa, or Luna. But my favorites are the darker ones, and/or the pairings you know will never happen, aka Crack Pairings. I have an addiction.
 
3. What would you like to see in this community?
     I would like to see creative and original stories depicting the truly dark idea of Voldemort winning the war. The thought only inspires many images and is a wonderful thought provoking theme. I wish to see it put to good use, and not just flushed down the drain with unoriginal ideas and bad writing.

4. For fun, post a quote that reminds you of the theme of the community! It could perhaps be a challenge later on, you never know!

To me that quote embodies the true emptiness and non-existent feeling you get when everything and everyone around you is dying, that you lose your connection with the world and slowly start to wither away. The resistance is gone, Voldemort has won, life is horrible for anyone who ever opposed or betrayed him. It is that feeling.

I would wager that most of you remember darklord_news, a small journal used for reccing the week's Voldemort and Tom-centric works.

Unfortunately darklord_news is no longer with us. In its place is the new team_darklord.

This is a community that everyone is invited to watch as it houses recs pertaining to Voldemort and Tom-centric works at least once a week. The mods are friendly and promise to give everyone a week's notice if they ever decide to walk off the face of the Earth.

Hey all :) I was kinda referred (I say kinda cuz it was more of an attempt to get me off her back than a genuine suggestion :P) here and figured I'd check things out, seeing as dark and delicious is right up my alley.

I'm an avid reader (mostly fan fiction these days) for various fandoms, HP being one of my top favs of late, and I write some but have yet to get into the HP fandom. We'll see how that goes *lopsided smile*

I hate intros so I appreciate the questions set. Here goes...

What drew you to the community?
Rec/referral and the fact that it appealed to my darker tastes

What's your favorite ship/s to sail/read/draw?
I generally prefer het pairings, enjoy threesome and moresome stories and will indulge (on occasion) in slash but it's not my favourite thing. I'll read any Hermione/Slytherin pairing - the darker the better. While I do enjoy the occasional bit of fluff, I'm more a middle-of-the-road to dark and dangerous kinda gal.

What would you like to see in this community?
Surprise me! I suppose anything well written, discussions that aren't shallow... I'm open to anything.

Voldemort Victorious: New Beginnings
Dec. 4 - Jan. 31

In order for something to begin, something else has to end. At the advent of the new year, what better way to celebrate the darker side of Harry Potter. Namely, that thing that will never happen: Voldemort wins. His new reign begins with the new year, surveying his domain, deciding its future.

Now is your time to speculate what might happen under Voldemort's rule. This is the challenge for the next two months. You'll have December to think about it and write the story. I hope that this can stimulate the darkfic community again, especially since I know that we have such good writers.

The Rules:

1) Fics have to be at least 2000 words. This will provide ample time to develop a plot.

2) I advise that the fics be completed by Dec. 28. I'll have a list of dates in January that you can sign up to post on. I hope that we can manage one fic a day.

3) Subject matter is up to you. You can even write humor. The only caveat is Voldemort Victorious. All ratings, pairings, kinks/squicks and genres accepted, including crossovers and AUs.

4) Unfortunately, the nature of this challenge and fic posting makes it impossible to get an extension. :) So, yes, you can move back the date of posting if you are unable and if there are any dates left.

5) ETA: You can write up to three fics, but you'd have to sign up for more than one day. :)

An unhealthy obsession with the psychology of Lord Voldemort.  I'm actually sort of rooting for him in the series, although I realise it will be an unfulfilled dream to see him in charge of things...

2. What's your favorite ship/s to sail/read/draw?

Hermione/Voldemort (or HG/TMR); Hermione/Snape, and I'm writing a Luna/Voldemort.

3. What would you like to see in this community?

I can't get enough Voldemort fan art.  He's such a marvellous subject.  I would also like to see something with Nagini...

I Feel: excited

1. What drew you to the community?
I love a good AU, and I'm a fan of well-done darkfic/art as well... just as much as I am of stories where the heroes eventually triumph over horribly dire odds. This kind of thing is as fun to write or draw as it is to read, and a wizarding world with Voldemort victorious opens up a whole slew of wonderous and exciting possibilities.

2. What's your favorite ship/s to sail/read/draw?
Snape/Black, followed by Marcus/Oliver, Ron/Draco, and Draco/Hermione.  But there are many others I enjoy.

3. What would you like to see in this community?
Long, plotty fic is always wonderful.  So are challenges. :D
