You awaken in a empty interrogation room with the door open. It's silent - all expected everyday sounds absent. On the table is a computer, with a note that explains little, written in an online journal:

My name is Noah Bennet. I don't know where we are, or why we've been brought here. I know it's hard to believe, but we're on a deserted island with no way off. I'm willing to share what I know, and I'll be at the cafe on Main Street every day between 11 and 1. More of us arrive everyday, and working together might be our best chance of figuring this all out.

Outside, you find yourself in a quiet, small, coastal town with no name. The only people there are people like you, who arrived in that interrogation room with no clue as to why or how. The town was completely abandoned, though it looks as though it had been full of people only a few months prior. There are no signs of struggle, everything in town appears as though the inhabitants simply disappeared.

Surrounding the town is a vast wilderness. There are no vehicles. No cars, boats, bicycles - nothing. The only way around is on foot, and to hike the wilderness to the opposite side of the island would take nearly a day.

This island is not all it appears. The people on it are not necessarily alone, and the both the town and wilderness hold many secrets that could be clues to what happened to the original population, who brought them here, and how to escape.
