Spoilers: Takes place in season two
Summary: Something odd is happening to Kevin, something that seems to track back to him being revived from the dead. But how can he fix a problem he’s not even sure he believes in it? Whether he fully believes in the supernatural or not, it seems to believe in him.
Notes/Warnings: Bad language, but not much sex at all. Sorry. This almost a straight (no pun intended) horror story.

This theme takes us back to events that occurred in season one when Keven was killed by Grace and then brought back to life by Ambrosius. Or was he? *cue spooky music*
Two quotes in the first season set my mind to spinning with the possibilities they alluded to:
Van: You know, there’s other possibilities that you’re not considering here.
Toby: Like what, Kevin turned into a vampire or something? Please.
Toby: You were already dead. But he came back to life by the power of the Book of Tresum, and now he’s not gonna die again, right? No more dying.
Did Kevin come back because of the power of the Book of Tresum, or is he an Immortal? Or maybe he is a vampire. Or a zombie. Or a fluffy bunny. (Just ask Anya, they’re evil. *g*) Or a . . . well, you get the idea. *g* Go ahead and twist the challenge however you want. It’s up to you.
Please note that your fic does not have to take place during season one, nor does Kevin have to be a main character in your fic, but what he came back as and/or the consequences of what he came back as does have to feature.

dantescovefests Fest #5: Kevin’s Return From the Dead. Originally I wanted to write a vampire!Kevin fic in which Kevin kills Van and Adam and turns Toby into his thrall . . . . This is not that fic. Instead I got this kinda cool but really creepy idea, but I didn’t really have anywhere to go with it that wouldn't have creeped even me out way too much, so I dropped it and came up with another idea. In the way of creepy ideas, however, this refused to leave me alone. So I wrote it down. I am still working on the less creepy story, but in the meantime, I give you this fic. Sorry. *eg* [If you want more of a warning regarding the creepy aspect of the fic, click on the cut after the fic.]
