AboutWelcome to Dante’s Cove Fanfiction Fests, where we hope to encourage and inspire you to write fan fiction in the Dante’s Cove ‘verse by issuing biannual challenges.
Please be advised that due to a lack of interest this community will be on indefinite hiatus until further notice.

smallfandomfest. The Fest runs on a bi-annual schedule, May-July and Nov-Jan.

Rules:
1. Fest challenges will be issued biannually. There will be a two week sign up period followed by a six week writing period, with fic due the final week of the second month. We’re currently running on the following biannual schedule: Feb/Mar and Aug/Sep.
2. Fest fic must be posted here at the community. However, we do not require exclusivity, so you may also post your fic at your own journal and wherever else you normally post.
3. You must be a member of the community to post, though not to comment.
4. All ratings, pairings (gen, het, slash and femslash), and genres are welcome here, as long as the story satisfies the theme of the Fest. No Real Person Fic is allowed, however.
5. Your fic should be at least 1000 words in length, though we won’t actually turn away a fic that comes in at 750 words, or even a 100-word drabble, ‘cause we want fic, dang it! But preferably, we’re looking for fic to be at least 1000 words, which is only three pages. And if you want to post a 10,000 word fic, we’re all for that, too! *g*
Regardless of the length of your story, please only post it in a single part; the LJ limit on post size is very large and should not be a problem. If your story exceeds that size (approx. 11,000 words), you may post it in two parts. If your story needs special formatting that LJ can't accommodate, please feel free to post it at a separate website and post a link to the website instead.
6. To make it easier for me to tag and memory your stories, please include "[Title] by [Your author name] [Pairing/Character] [Fest]" in the subject line of your post. Stories will be tagged and memoried by Fest, author name and pairing/character.
7. You must include spoiler warnings!
8. Please include a header with at least the following information in your post and put the story itself behind a cut:
9. Only challenge responses should be posted here. This is not the comm for questions or announcements or pimping your own communities. Any OT posts will be deleted.
10. No flames allowed! If you don’t like something, skip it.
