Devil Never Cry is centered around the Capcom Devil May Cry game series, with a slant for those who like Trish with Dante, either as a friend, a partner, or a significant other. Discussions on all the characters, sexuality, and pairings thereof are welcome, though. The main focus of this community are the characters of the game, and the world they're in. It's more a community for DMC fen to discuss the elements which make the game as facinating as it is.

RULES:
There's really only four big ones, and they're basically common sense.

No flaming. Have your differences of opinions in a calm, mature fashion. The sandbox is big enough for all of us to have our little spot to play in. If someone has a different viewpoint than yours, oh well. That's life in the fandom circles.
No character or pairing bashing. I mean, really. Character/Pairing bashing is exempt from being able to use the "Don't Like It, Don't Read It" defense on the sheer merit that by engaging in character/pairing bashing, the participants are breaking that very rule of thumb. Character/Pairing bashers who try to use the "DLIDRI" defense are hypocrites. Find better ways to spend energy.
No posting game spoilers without sufficient protection. (information on spoiler protection is available further down this page.)
Read up on what's on topic and what's not before posting, and use LJ-CUTs for long posts and graphics.

Remember, the moderators are both part of

Fandom_Wank, and just because they run the place doesn't mean they won't report it if the community gets all gooey from ego-stroking. ^_^,V,,

On Topic:

Discussions about the Devil May Cry series, the world, and the characters. Game hints and tips aren't really on topic, unless they pertain to character, since there's more generalized communities available for that.
Fanfiction: drabbles, one-shot short stories, and links. Please give the title, rating, summary, and genre, then place the actual story behind an LJ-CUT. G through NC-17 fanfics are allowed.
Canon and Fan Art (including doujinshi pics): nothing greater than 300x300 pixels without an LJ-CUT. No more than one image without an LJ-CUT. No hentai pictures allowed, since those can be more troublesome to an open-age community than just 'fics. If you don't know how to do an LJ-CUT, just copy and paste the bit below:

Pictures of your children, pets, or significant other, and how your day went and what Pokemon you are. Pictures of self/others and daily life stories are relevant ONLY if the day was spent in fannish activities, or the pictures are cosplay/costume photos.
Begging for invite codes, game cheats, or promoting any non-DMC-based community for any reason.
Posts that have utterly nothing to do with DMC whatsoever.
