    ... are in about an hour. I'm a little nervous on the account that I pretty much spent the entire summer as a hermit.

Due to Baby and egl cock-up fest 2008 I missed out on a lucky pack. I'm quite pissed off since I've been waiting since New Years for this. :/ I'm angry at the people who ordered early even though the website said not for them to do so until 12. Ah well. I just wish that some people were more mature about the matter than maybe I wouldn't feel so sour about this whole experience.

In other news I had a lovely lunch with Angela. I took her to The Underground since I adore that place so much and she told me that she heard news that a Lush store would be opening down here soon! I'm so excited, I love Lush and it'll be the first Lush store in Tasmania.
I'm trying to poke Rowan on AIM while he's at work but he's not responding. He must be uber-busy or in a meeting or something because I totally want to walk into the city again later and walk with him when he finishes work. <3

Damn you Baby, releasing your lucky packs at midnight! D: I mean I expect that from the brands these days but why tonight of all nights?! I've been so damn tired ALL day. Basically last night was Wednesday, thus Halo 3 night. Everyone came over to mine and Rowan's and good times were had by all but Phil was the last one to go because Steve was supposed to come and pick him up. He said that Steve would be picking him up late which was cool but it rolled around to 12.30am and Steve still hadn't arrived! I had had a big day as it is so I was basically passed out on the couch and Phil and Rowan tried to find Steve's number and even rang their Dad to try and find it but to no avail. Around 1 Rowan took Phil home to find Steve already there. WTF?! I have no idea what happened. Any way Rowan and I were sleeping in this morning and I got woken up at 8am by a phone call from Neil (their Dad~) checking to make sure Phil arrived at Steve's safely.
So as it is Rowan and I had less than 6 hours sleep in the end because it was a rough night. Tonight was supposed to be an early night but now I want to stay up to 1 again for a lucky pack. *cry* I feel sorry for Rowan since he has work tomorrow but at least I can sleep-in for half the day afterwards before I go out and meet Angela for lunch. So here I am sitting at my computer in zombie form trying to stay awake for another 3 hours to nab myself a lucky pack. Must... stay... awake....! I think I might have a searing hot shower and play some World of Warcraft.

*edit* Bwahahaaaaaa I was wrong, they're being released at 12pm and not am. So I'm totally off to sleep now, love you all! Have happy lucky pack dreams. <3 MmmMM Sunny Day dress up set here I come.

I was walking home from meeting Dave and Rowan for lunch and saw on a local music newspaper that Faker are going to be in Tassie for a performance on the 13th of September. I'm really excited because they're one of Rowan's favourite bands and we missed seeing his other favourite band Crazy P years ago because we were both starving Uni students. Also while walking home I called in at the City Supermarket to grab some milk and get some more green tea and mint but they didn't have any! Our local grocer doesn't have any either which sucks because I have one green tea and mint tea bag left. I'm going to have to somehow find a way to drag it out until I can get to the Woolworths in our area. ;w;
I was re-reading the small amount of info about the Baby lucky packs on their website and I looked at this part underneath the English part:
'今回は海外のお客様限定となります。ご了承下さい。' (I was dumb and didn't read in it the English part.)
It seems that they're only offering lucky packs to their International customers. They must be getting heaps of business from overseas to be able to do this, but seeing the buzz on egl about it tells me that they're totally going to sell out really quickly any way. I'm so excited, I just wish they'd give us more info already - last year they had awesome teaser photos too.

I went into Artery and Spotlight yesterday but didn't buy anything. I just love walking around and looking at fabric, trims, home wares and art supplies. I'm crazy.


I feel so weird right now. It's 9.15am but I feel like it's late in the afternoon because Rowan and I got out of bed really early this morning so he could leave work when I do. So I'm sitting here sipping tea because I don't have work for another 3 hours. I had a really bad sleep last night too because Rowan was really restless.

Today before our grocery shop Rowan and I went to local park and had some fun before it started raining. Before we left we took some photos of Mt. Wellington from the end of our street because it was extra snowy today:

It looked simply breath-taking but I really can't wait for Winter to be over, it's so cold here lately and it's rained every day for the past week.
