It's almost time for the 2008 Isis Awards!
For those who may not have heard of these awards, they were originally created to celebrate the less prolific het pairings in Stargate fanfiction. We wanted every author to be given a chance to shine, whether their chosen pairing was popular or not, and considering the success of these awards over the past few years, we feel that we've accomplished that goal. Now it's time to do it all again!

My apologies for the long delays. I have no real excuse other than I've never run any awards before and was a bit naive as to what it entailed. My team, who are all wonderful, hard workers, have no blame in the delay. It's all me. I hope everyone enjoys themselves all the same, and has fun voting. Please remember that I believe the LJ Poll system won't let you vote multiple times, so be ready to cast ALL your votes in a category before submitting your vote.
If you cannot find your nomination for some reason, it was probably deleted because it either 1) conflicted with one of your other nominations or 2) was not seen as appropriately fluffy in content. However, we did try very hard to get as many stories included as possible.
