About

DANCEWORTHY is a closed music sharing community that was created by

heartwire and then expanded on to add other posters to share their music tastes as well. If the name leads to believe all the music you'll find is this community is dance, you're misled. The name was created with the idea that all music is danceworthy to someone. It may not be my ideal type of music, but to the person next to you on the subway blaring their music, whatever they are listening to might be danceworthy to them. As of now, the community is closed, and I hope that we will reach a maximum of twenty posters. For now there are three, but you are welcome to apply in the only public post. When you apply to join, which you can do so by clicking here, your request to join will either be accepted or rejected. The rules for this community are simple. If you follow them, we will have no problem.

RULES
01. When music is posted, there will be five to ten songs posted in each post. You must comment to tell the poster what song(s) you are taking. Due to the limited number of downloads some host's have, this is for the reference of the poster in case a song needs to be reuploaded.

02. Occasionally, a poster will post their playlist and this will be open for requests. These are the only posts where requests are allowed unless the poster states otherwise.

03. All posts must be friendslocked. The general public will not have access to these songs, which is why it is imperative that you join if you wish to obtain music from our posters.

04. The RIAA dictates that all music downloaded should be removed after previewing for twenty-four hours. After those twenty-four hours, you are responsible for your actions and what you do with this music. We are not making any profit off of these posts and encourage you to support artists by purchasing their music at a local music store.

POSTERS If you would like to apply to be a poster, please comment on the public post with why, and your current favorite five songs. We are not saying you will be accepted or rejected, but we will review your application and all the current posters will vote on you. You must have one over half of the votes in order to be inducted in. It is not our goal to be so called elite but we are a rather close-knit group. If you are a poster, and have not posted at least ten songs in thirty days, you will be removed. Current posters are allowed to invite one friend who must be approved by all other posters.
