Do they still make Schaefer beer? Anyone know where I can get it?

I know, it is not a fancy pants beer. But for some reason today, I miss it and I would like one.

How old are you?

I don't think it's produced anymore, I read about it not too long ago. And I'm not sure if it was even marketed here, I thought it was a back east thing.

waah, I'm not that old. It was one of those college things I guess. I remember it tasting better than PBR.

Anti-freeze tastes better than PBR. Hell, I think even Hamm's might...

Most people I've met who drank Schaefer drank it when it was popular (30+ years ago;) and (as I mentioned) were from back east.

Looks like it's not available here. It's owned by Pabst now and the closest place I found was Vegas, where it has a distributor. It also has distribution (if you're planning a little traveling soon) in Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Missouri (among others, I stayed west of the Mississippi).

Not available on the West Coast but ifyou eat a lot of yeasty bread then 3 hours later pee in a cup, you've pretty much got the recipe duplicated.
