2nds that. Along with: If you don't have to go out, stay off the roads cause you're causing unneeded accidents!

people are dumb...
it's like thinking "since ice is harmless in my drink, it must be harmless to drive fast on"

I love people.

I live near the Bertha intersection on Beaverton-Hillsdale - right on the hill - and we've heard sliding and screeching all day long. A motorcycle ended up parking himself outside of our driveway all day because he couldn't make it up the hill. People should have just stayed home!

There was a survey done a few years ago that said 80% of the population believes their driving skill is "above average", but in reality those are the most dangerous and brain-dead drivers that shouldn't have a license nor a car.

And I don't understand why people give me crap about not having a license. I can't drive. I'm a terror behind the wheel. YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!!

/sigh...

American drivers are idiots now-a-days. They'll tailgate you in good weather or bad. No amount of reproof or remonstration will have any effect. They're idiots; and, there, sir, is an end on it.

Taking it slow and relaxed is the way to go. When I was out some guy would not lay off his horn.

All of the main roads here in my neck of the woods in Vancouver are ice free. Our little street only had a little slick stuff on the very sides. People are still staying home, just in case.

Stop being a wuss, all you portlanders suck at driving even IN perfect weather. A little ice comes along and the whole town freaks out.

I'm so scared for tomorrow. I'm stuck in Camus on a huge icy hill. Today was my FIRST DAY at my new job and I had to call in.

I have to go in tomorrow if I want to keep my job, or it'll get offered to someone else. Anyone have tips for driving in this crap? Believe me, if I could stay home I would...but I have no choice.

*shrug* I didn't see any reason to stay at home yesterday, main roads were fine and side roads were cake in a 4wd truck. Not to mention, icy parking lots were fun as hell.
