It is really really gusty here in the Tron. This is unusual since we're in that bowl that does not allow extreme weather of any kind to enter. Is anyone else's house being blown over this evening?

P.S. Coming from a guy who got of work at midnight and then went home to patch drywall for new years... hope all of your festivities were more lively than mine!

Ski Rental
What is the best place in town for ski rental? I am taking my boyfriend skiing for his birthday and I've never skied in Oregon before. I am looking for decent prices/good service.

Chinese food to my door
ICGATM yadda yadda yadda

I want some nice person to bring Chinese food to my door in exchange for money. As near as I can figure, there's only two places in PDX that will do that for me. One of them charges a $6 delivery fee. That is unacceptable.

I look to you, oh great PDX oracle, where do I find what I desire?

Bonus points for Szechuan food that's so spicy I want to die.

Found: Cat
Hey folks, tomorrow I'm putting up posters, but here's the story!

My neighbor just came over and said there's a cat that's been sleeping on their porch for three days. She has a red collar, but no tags. The neighbors have a big, rather mean dog, and couldn't take the cat in, but we're keeping her warm overnight. Not sure how my cat will react, so...

She's a lovely mottled calico, I -believe- it is a her, she has a red collar with no tags, green eyes, and I can't yet check a micro-chip (will also do that tomorrow). I live just off of Hawthorne on 32nd place and am hoping to find this kitty's home. If we can't, we may keep it, because my siamese disappeared a few months back and I like cats, but I know how much it sucks to lose a pet, so...if she's yours, or might be, or a friend's...let me know!

New Years?
Did anyone go to Berbati's Pan last night? My friends and I had planned on going and when we showed up, there was a line. We got in and stood there for about 20 min, got right to the door, and then someone came out and said they weren't selling anymore tickets. We ended up going to Embers instead. It was way fun. But yeah, anyone make it in? The Prince VS Michael Jackson thing sounded awesome!
