Going to bend,or for the night on wednesday since no snow resorts are open yet

What would you do there? I plan on going to the Deschutes brewery and I am not interested in the cave tours or the high desert musuem

While you're at it, check out Bend Brewing and Silver Moon. Both are better (IMHO) than Deschutes.

Seconded. Although a tour of Deschutes Brewery is always fun.

The weather over there has been awesome so hiking is a must. Head up towards Bachelor for some decent trails.

You won't have to worry about cave tours since the season is over and the cave is closed.

You could head up to Newberry National Monument for some hiking and great scenery. While your out there stop in Sunriver and poke around.

Watch out for speed traps on the new Redmond by-pass. The cops are always there. The speed is 45 and any faster will get you a ticket.

It may not have snowed enough to block the Scenic Lakes Loop, that's always pretty.

Definitely go to the BenDistillery for good vodka and gin. It's at the end of the breezeway on Wall Street, just a few blocks from Bond Street Pub (Deschutes Brewing).

Merenda restaurant downtown. Do some wine flights, eat some small plates, nom nom nom! It is a great value.

Tumalo Falls. McMenamins soaking pool. Longboard Louies(theres one on Galveston, if you want a fish taco.)
