"SIGHTS OF PORTLAND" exhibit
I have a First Friday exhibit coming up at Bombshell Vintage, with a framed n' matted "SIGHTS OF PORTLAND" theme that some of you might dig. More pics and other info behind the cut:

"Powell's City of Books On Thursday Afternoon"


"The Burnside Bridge On Tuesday Night"


There are also pics of the Laure​lhurs​t Theat​er,​ the World​ Nekki​d Bike Ride,​ Pione​er Squar​e,​ the Clint​on St. Theater, Mary's Club,​ the Doug Fir Loung​e,​ the Epoxies, and more more more. Plus it's First Friday, so there's also some free drinkin's in the vicinity. EEEEEEEYYYYYEAAAAHHHH!!!! The pics will also be exhibited and available for purchase-- of originals and of prints-- throughout all of May. How 'bout them apples?

Revelry is from 7 to 9:30 this Friday (May 2nd) at Bombshell Vintage... 811 E Burnside, right across the street from the Doug Fir / Jupiter Hotel. Even if you think my pictures suck, you'd probably still like the store, s'awesome.

Heh... Tres Shannon looks slightly more like a decrepit David Lee Roth.

Aw, I won't be able to make it, I'm already double-booked that night (a friend's band is playing, and a friend's film is playing at the PDX fest), but those are really great. Any chance the others might find their way online after the exhibit? I'd love to see them.

Yeah, they're up on my regular LJ. But in case you find yourself in the neighborhood, they'll be exhibited at Bombshell all month.

Those are really cool.

I especially like the contrast between the more realistic signs for the businesses and the more iconic, "cartoony" people. (See, I do remember something from Scott McCloud's "Understanding Comics"!)
