A little help here please
I am looking to buy a king size head/foot board. Something unique and wooded. And ideas on where to look. I already checked City Liquidators and Cost plus. And the cheaper the better. Any ideas on where to look?
Thanks guys

there's a thrift store on Sandy and 31st that often has a lot of head and footboards for sale. Dunno if they'd have king size, but their stock seems to change over regularly and a lot of the stuff is quite nice for a decent cost.

Ikea has some fun king-sized headboards that are "wooden".

Let's see, king sized, unique and wooded (which will probably mean heavy and ungainly) and cheap.

Yeah, you're going to have a really hard time finding something. You're either going to have to pony up the money for real wood, or get fake wood, because real wooden furniture is NOT cheap.

I found a wood, leather, and brass Cali King captain's bed on Craigslist for 350, but they were in Washington, so with the gas I spent it was more like 420, and the only reason it was so cheap was because they had had it sitting in their garage for five years and wanted nothing more than to get rid of it. So I got pretty damned lucky with that.
