Farmer's-type market this weekend?
I know it's going to be rainy today and this weekend, but it's the only time I have free to do stuff I want.
Are there any farmer's markets open today or any day this weekend? I know there's the one at the PSU campus and the Saturday market, but I'm always seeing signs for smaller, neighborhood-type markets. I can never remember where exactly they are or when. Please help? If anyone has information to make my weekend, that would be great. Thanks.
::EDIT::
I know a lot of them are not open this early in the season. I'm looking for the ones that are. I know they are open because people have been putting up sidewalk signs for them, I'm having a hard time remembering where and when they are.
Thanks again.

It's not the right season yet, but here are the listings:

Oregon Farmers' Market Association

Portland Farmers Market

That's the thing. I looked them all up on Google and saw that these ones are not open this early, hence why I noted them in my post; I still see sidewalk signs all over the place for smaller ones. I'm looking for the more neighborhood-type markets that I see signs up for during the weekdays when I'm driving to and from work, not these bigger ones.

Actually, you only noted one farmers market and the Saturday Market in your post. But, okay.

Thank your for your help, sorry if my post was not clear. I'm just looking for the small Portland neighborhood farmer's markets that I have currently seen signs out for, I think I specified that.

The surrounding small city's have farmers markets. Vancouver, Beaverton, Hillsburrito etc. I'd check with their city websites.
:D

And again, all those smaller neighborhood ones are listed in the first link above to the Oregon Farmers Market Association. Peoples Co-op seems to be the only year-round one that advertises at all.

Vancouver opens april 5th.
My nearest one, the Montevilla Farmer's market isn't until June.
And I haven't seen the signs you mention, so can't help ya there.

That's ok. I do believe that the ones I've seen signs for are open on weekdays which isn't conducive to my schedule.

one of the small signs you might've seen for a neighborhood market is the people's co-op market, though it's on wednesday unfortunately.

and the hillsdale farmer's market has been ongoing, but it looks like the next one isn't until march 16th.

Oh darn. I work Wednesdays. I guess I'll just wait for the warmer weather to buy plants and the such.
Thank you for clarifying that and the link.

even though it's wednesday, the hours are 2-7. also, if it's just plants you want, they usually keep some for sale outside every day.

It actually turned out to be quite sunny, but now it's a bit gray.
We can't all be fancy with awesome jobs that require us to be on the east coast.
I know you miss Portland.

Really? One that you'll let me "take care of" when you're gone?

If I could afford one, you could sit on top of it any day of the week. *nod*

Right now and for the next few years will be the best time to buy a house, you know? The market is going like crazy, a ton of people are giving up their homes and realtors can't find enough people to buy them so prices are dropping like flies.
