burnside bridge y0
dude! all four lanes of the burnside bridge were open this morning for the first time in ... years it seems!

there were no construction trucks anywhere, no cement dividers blocking off lanes. it looked like a mirage at first because of the reflection of "big pink," but i really think they are done!

i got to work so fast today. that fact, combined with the sunshine and a clear view of mt. hood has made this a good morning so far.

It's so exciting to see a construction project that took so long be done. I don't think I will get to see the finished bus mall reconstruction because I will be moving back to Colorado before it's done.

considering that yesterday was the most depressing day of the year [according to 'scientists'], today is looking pretty effin spectacular!
I think the last time all lanes on Burnside were open was back in early 2004.

I believe it was 2005 actually. I moved here in 2005, and definitely drove across the four-lane bridge quite frequently
