Does anyone know where to get fresh baker's yeast? I'm in South East Portland. I'll go anywhere in "rainy weather biking distance" (~25 miles r/t) Thank you!

Bob's Red Mill over off Hwy 224 might have it. My dad gets all his bread baking supplies there.

We have a whole bunch of portland-based bakers on the site and I bet you'll find all the best answers about anything bread related there :) Probably more than you wanted to know actually, but yeah - they seem to know where all the best shopping sources are too! (I'd answer but I dont know - my husband who runs that site does all the baking)

I've always found mine at Safeway, where they keep the butter. It comes in little foil packets from Fleishman's.

I'm pretty sure New Seasons has it. There's one on about 18th and Division, and one in Sellwood, amongst other places.

Something as simple as taking antibiotics can cause a yeast infection. Grow up.
