This largely resulted from me stumbling over a few songs and I realized they summed up Damned's creepiness and angsty drama rather nicely. So I shuffled some tracks around and decided to turn it all into an FST. x) IDEK GUYS. I'm not sure where the title came from either, fffff, but I'd already 'shopped it in by the time I started to reconsider it so. THERE IT REMAINS.

ETA: Kabby has just informed me that Jessy Greene's Time Bomb was corrupted, so I re-up'd both the single file and fixed the .rar. |D

WELL. For this year's Oktoberfest I had hoped to finish a stack of neat illustrations. Except I never got around the 'finish' part, or even the 'neat illustrations'. Instead of what I had planned, I only ended up with some random chibi illustrations and two bonus drawings. Not quite what I had hoped to put on paper. So much for that project. After my epic fail, I thought I'd just share those chibi's for those that wanted to see them. They're not even colored, though. |D

ANYWAY.

I was going through a couple of old SH tags while I was sick and found the inspiration to draw practice doodles while waiting for my brain to catch up with my body. Unfortunately, they're all kinda crappy.

Apologies, since 90% of this involves the Straw Hats in one way or another. Even the old ones who aren't at Landel's anymore. I do have, like, one picture of Yuffie near the end though I was trying to do something related to her breakfast thread with Kenshin but I failed at drawing all the necessary movements. ;__; I attempted to branch out but every time my hand tried drawing something it wasn't used to the picture would turn into a mass of squiggles, scream, then explode. Not always in that order.

Just a little fun if you're on facebook. There's an app called Buddy Poke or something and I discovered it was possible to make....the damned PYJAMAS uniform! And make it be scared, or be a zombie and all sorts. And they fight too! So. Yeah. I dunno if anyone's bored enough but....

It's suddenly become pertinent to my Oktoberfest entry. Oog.

Anyway, question teim: Have there been any pictures (drawings, sketches, etc.) of any of the monsters on the Landel's roster? It'd make my life a lot easier if there were but it's understandable if there aren't. 8D;;

Uuuuh I guess I could probably post this here, I guess. :O So ZEX has been running around at Landel's for a long time now, and as a result I've been doodling up his little adventures for a while. I never really posted any of them since they're just sketches and almost always focused on ZEX or his Starcon2 buddies and I wasn't sure if anyone would really be interested unless you're an SC2 fan or what have you. and i get really self-conscious

But in case anyone IS interested I put together a quick page here. Most of them are just quick sketches, and almost all of them involve ZEX and the majority is ZEX and the Captain being all gay and such before he got eaten by zombies. But a few other characters show up, notably Xellos, Teisel, Wally, Kayako, Xigbar... possibly a few other minor cameos that I can't remember right now. There're a few dodgy things here and there (nothing nc-17 rated though i think?), so uh be careful I guess?

Kabby couldn't sleep last night, so she rough sketched a couple of damned ladies. :( It started out with big drawings, but everyone got smaller and smaller and eventually some became naught but tiny busts with stock expressions (BLANK SMILE BLANK SMILE BLANK SMILE). There's a few I don't like/want to do over, but I like it enough to post. WHATEVER HAVE SOME HOT MAMAS. *steamrolls*

So, Oktoberfest is upon us and I know some of us (like me) are quaking with fear wondering what the hell we should write for it!

So here we thought that some kind of planning/discussion post might be helpful to people ^^

Post anything Oktoberfest related here. Questions, beta-requests, snippets that you'd like feedback for.

Also perhaps you have an idea that you really like but just doesn't fit with what you're writing but hey, someone else might be able to use it!

I like using other people's characters in fic because I know it makes people happy to see them, but I only stalk a few and don't have the brainpower (or time) to read whole apps or retroactively stalk to find characters that may or may not be appropriate for my story. That, and I try to avoid spoilers. But then, sometimes in fic-writing I want to expand beyond my little circle, and I don't know where to begin. :( Sorry, I fail at stalk.

It'd be super cool if everyone could just give a very brief, spoiler-free mental/emotional character description. I'm talking one paragraph here, ex-deathnoters. This'll make it easier for everyone to find characters that suit their needs, if they have needs. If they don't, more power to them!

Heya, posting this in the cafe' since it's not official Landel's stuff.  But I do really need some help with it... I hope this is ok.  If not, I can take it down, no problem.

I help run an anime convention here in Utah and one of the events we're trying out is Family Feud. But for accurate questions and poll results, we uh... need people to take our poll. ^^;

SO. If you have some free time and don't mind answering about 40 text-answer questions related to anime, manga, and video games, I would really appreciate it!!

Does your character fit a trope? Is their character and/or anon synonymous (or eponymous) with a trope?

Aside from the obligatory Mad Scientists up in M-U, and the revolving death cycle of him and his Head Bastard and his sundry antagonists and backstabbing cronies, which tropes have you gotten to play out at Landels? Want to play out? Want to subvert? Do you long to set up something that looks like an impossibly complex series of coincidences just to allow your character to be the world's least likely Big Damn Hero? Or are you just in it for what the audience would call filler, and we call lulz?

Which tropes make things more difficult? Does your character angst over a canon ability, only to run into another canon where Everyone can do that? Or are you just tired of convincing overly-magical or overly-brainy characters of Clarke's Third Law. Etc.

And I don't mind people including recent drops -- go crazy.

SO IFFIN' IT PLEASE YA please post some basic prompts in the comments section-- something like Character(s), Scenario(s), and/or Prop(s)-- and I or any other real artist/writer (seriously! I'd love to see what sort of awesomeness everyone's capable of *.*) will reply with a pretty picture. Or drabble. Or macro. OR SOMETHING candy?. At least, that's the idea. *fingers crossed* 8,D?
