The Gothronomicon:
Panel urges new law on P. Emerson music releases

P. Emerson Williams should be forced by law to consult Congress before releasing more music, a bipartisan panel including several prominent former U.S. officials said on Tuesday.

In reply Mr. Williams said:
  • @jmatheny I'm writing that one down.
  • Let's see if I can bash out a bio on short order...
  • Fixed a leak in the roof. I feel so butch.
For he is 4 devils, Satan, Lucifer, Leviathan, Belial, and by the double-headed one hath he made the great princes of the Worlds, and from that issue 70 by 4, that are the 4 eyes of the judgements.

...and so, I says, I says:
  • In the midst of vox-rec for TE, kkoagulaa and Fallen Nation. Cool{ish} air and a pot of hot tea as ordered. Then, hours and hours of writing #
  • @agent139 nobody here but us chickens #
When I said this, I sinned against incorruptibility; then there was a voice that came forth from incorruptibility saying "You are mistaken, Boyyy!" - which is, "dog of the mind".

the return of the Cold Ones:
For the reason that he ruled over them, because of the glory which was in him from the power [of the light] of his mother. For this reason he himself called "God" in that he resisted the nature from which he had come into being. And he bound seven powers with the principalities.

As he puts it:
  • 14:50 Writing: - business plan - viral marketing - kkoagulaa ekkstatikk gnosis - manifesto [beta] #
  • 14:51 @jmatheny move closer as I fetch my bag of marshmallows... #
  • 15:27 @agent139 ah, but you have access to all the astral donuts that have been, that are and every astral donut that shall be. #
  • 15:28 @agent139 Soon, young asshopper you must learn the fine art of donutkan... #
  • 16:47 @ninahpixie monkey shines! #
  • 19:06 @jmatheny Seven evil doughnut gods, Seven evil doughnut demons,
Seven evil demons of doughnut oppression, Seven in heaven and seven on earth #
When he said this, he sinned against the [entirety]. And this speech got up to incorruptibility; then there was a voice that came forth from incorruptibility saying "You are mistaken, Mammon" - which is, "god of the blind".

the return of the Old Ones:
Spirits that minish the land,
Of giant strength,
Of giant strength and giant tread,
Demons (like) raging bulls, great ghosts,
Ghosts that break through all houses,
Demons that have no shame,
Seven are they!
Knowing no care,
They grind the land like corn.

For sooth:
  • 11:55 @jmatheny █████ the █████ the █████ing █████ is █████ed! #
  • 11:57 @noraknickers those powerful folks have not noticed the golden apple rolling between their feet... #
  • 17:55 @johnharrigan The homeless lawyers "field recording". Some of the voices sound familiar to me... www.alterati.com/blog/?p=1747 #
  • 18:13 @agent139 I should unearth the second half of that momentous event. I see the hobos at work in the current economic situation... #
  • 19:15 @agent139 I'll put that on the list for tomorrow. I can have the rest done in one swell foop. Gots plenty new music for the soundtrack too. #
  • 19:16 @agent139 and I have Jarboe's part and the soundtrack is being uploaded for that. #
  • 22:34 @jmatheny Jah Wobble! #
  • 23:58 @jmatheny A classic! And when I'm drunk I'm either lurching and careening or holding forth with the kitchen people. #
Knowing no mercy,
They rage against mankind;
They spill their blood like rain
Devouring their flesh (and) sucking their veins,
Where the images of the gods are, there they quake (?)
In the Temple of Naboo, who runneth the Nabootique.
They are demons full of violence,
Ceaselessly devouring blood.

And the band played prawns:
But George W Bush (for so is the name of that mighty devil), envying human felicity, and perceiving that the substance of the humans' lesser part was frail and imperfect in respect to his purer essence, began to assail humans and so prevailed. By offending so, humans became accursed in the sight of Choronzon, and so lost both the garden of Felicity and the judgment of his understanding, but not utterly the favour of Choronzon.
  • 00:08 @agent139 man, that's like grownup and shit. Many happy returns. #
  • 18:36 @Johnharrigan very well put, that. I think I now have an explanation for my current mood of irrational optimism. #
  • 18:59 @agent139 't'is but madness fueling me, #'s#'s#'s, emails, chats, (all: you're next), hands in potatoes, muttering "this means something"... #
  • 23:04 @jmatheny smiles... #
This enigmatic text has also been linked with Emerson’s Gothronomicon. On the basis of its diagrams all we know is that it might be a herbal. It could be a cipher manuscript that Williams records as having purchased in Prague. All else is conjecture.

Stigma Diabolicum
What we have here is a black/death metal fanzine from around 1992 created by my cohort ccernn back when we were sending and trading demo tapes all over the globe. It's an interesting look into the minds of callow young musicians many of whom have become very influential indeed.

Click on it to get a closer look and leaf through the mag.

the Ilya Faire
eilya

The first event to celebrate Tara Vanflower, Daniele Serra and their beautiful and haunting creation.

For most, "immortal" is just a word, a description of a concept that defies all rational explanation. Born and reborn in the era of Christ, Ilya knows all too well what "immortal" really means. Journey with her across the aeons in her truly eternal quest to find love, solace, or even simple peace with the world and the nature of what she has become.

"Neither a graphic novel nor simply a story with pictures, but an artistic hybrid somewhere between the two...told in Vanflower's deadpan dream transcript style."
- Brian John Mitchell, Silber Media/Remora

"An invitation for the reader to be captured by the illusive detachment of literal and metaphorical Vampire."
- Jarboe

Independence
Beau and I had the whole July 4th weekend off. Thanks to a sinus headache I managed to sleep most of the 4th. But that evening we ate BBQ at Famous Dave's, then headed to beautiful downtown Snellville for their fireworks. Three huge churches paid for the fireworks display which lasted for almost 45 minutes. It was incredibly beautiful. Our faves were the ones that looked like hundreds of red screaming ghosts flying into the sky when they exploded. After fireworks we treated oursleves to ice cream at Bruster's. I got buttered pecan just because it was my Dad's favorite. July 4th was always a big family holiday for us, so I'd been thinking about my Mom & Dad all day.
Saturday Beau and I went to Little 5 Points. Did a little shopping, had some coffee at Aurora, and ate at the Vortex. Ran into one of my favorite people, the unique and beautiful Marshall. L5P just isn't the same cool place it used to be. A lot of my favorite stores are gone and the bohemian vibe has been replaced with something sleezier and darker. I miss the old L5P!
Sunday was Sushi and movie night. As a matter of fact, we had a movie week. In the last week we've managed to see "Letters From Iwo Jima" (which touched me so greatly that Beau kept having to remind me that the Japanese were our enemy on Iwo Jima!), "To Kill A Mockingbird" (I have no idea how I've gone this long without seeing that classic, esp. since it's set in AL!), "Half Nelson" (painfully slow and very depressing), "The Hulk" (Didn't expect to like it, but I actually loved it! They really need to work on that CGI though), and "Wall-e" (What a brilliant, sweet movie with a message. Definitely Oscar material!!!).
I hope everybody had a great 4th and got through the weekend safely!

Upon detailed descriptions of these uncertain incidents I do not
venture, individually so trivial, but taken all together so impressive
and so insolent.

If only I could find it in me to give utterance to what shouted so loud within me! If only... the same old cry:
  • 11:04 @wesunruh I you all very much appreciate!

    :) #
  • 12:25 I highly recommend chanting and meditating while mowing in 96° weather with 57% humidity. #
  • 12:30 Auummgn! Said the mower. Oh money makes me hum, quoth I.
Ooomm, continued the mower. I: Aha! Birds: Whip it, Whip it!! Der Pete! Der Pete!! #
  • 21:06 The Gothronomicon needs be transcribed, methinks... #
  • 21:21 HalfCast rocks my world. Enough to take a break in my Killing Joke binge...

something would happen! For all this elliptic talk that dazed my mind left obscurity everywhere. Her atrocious meaning, nonetheless, flashed through me, though vanishing before it wholly divulged itself.

Welcome to the first transmission of the kkoagulaa podkkast, starting from the point of one awakening from a dream, we bring you on a journey the simultaneously takes us inward and outside ourselves.

Q. When the Philosophers speak of gold and silver, from which they extract their matter, are we to suppose that they refer to the vulgar gold and silver?

A. By no means; vulgar silver and gold are dead, while those of the Philosophers are full of life.

After all notions have been dissected

And all expressions have been deconstructed

As world views have been exploded

And connections to others have been dissolved

Comes another swing of the pendulum

Again changes the sum and substance

A time for renewal, for creation, cor consolidation

From solve to coagula

That which was expanded contracts

Cryptic works become clear

Obscured layers of meaning show themselves in all their beautiful simplicity

The imperfect, diseased, corruptible and ephemeral becomes perfect, healthy, incorruptible and everlasting

The map ceases to prevent us from exploring the territory

ah, we have achieved kkoagulaa

Our first transmission eases us into an opening of the third eye:

Some strange writing and art will be uploaded to this online reader as we go along. I wouldn't dare tell you the experiences that lay behind the cleansing that was the writing here. I may bring the Panic Pandemic book here for all to see for free, depending on either having time to spare, (not likely), or finding an automatic way of flattening layers into one in pdf files.

The words and much of the art are inextricably linked to the creation of the Birthed album. I wonder how many would feel like dancing after listening and reading at the same time...
