I celebrate the first anniversary of our community by posting my favourite picture of Maggie - although this is, of course, not a new one for my flist at least ... but we have not given it a posting of its own in this community... so here I go ( and: no, I have no idea when it has been taken... - I'd be so happy, if somebody happens to know!!)
Edit: somebody did know !!!!!! (if i'd know your lj-name, I'd give you credit, but I don't ...?!?): the picture was taken 1992 by the "Observer" on the occasion of Michael Covoney's biography of Maggie being released !

The only complaint I have about that picture is that it is not larger.... I just love it  ;-)

I have not posted a screen shot from my favourite movie for quite some time; I do love this one - reminds me  why I had the need to write a fic from Tom Riversmith's POV...; and to quote Maggie: "I admired Chris, how he played Tom ...such a distant creature.."
