Hello Everyone,

Well, i recently purchased a custom made Tia Dalma costume. I do plan to embellish it with some smaller details, like the shells on the belt.
Here is what my costume looks like:


Made by the wonderful Exclusive Taylormade costumes in Australia.

I don't plan to use cowrie shells, there has been a massive surge of zebra mussel shells at a lake near my house, and I got a bunch of them to use on the belt.
Does anyone have any recommendations for this? The shells are thinner compared to cowrie shells, I was thinking gluing them on would be better...but if anyone has any other suggestions I would be most grateful.

Could I get more info about where you purchased your costume? I live in Los Angeles, California, USA and I really want a great Tia Dalma costume for Halloween. How much did you pay for it? I'd like to buy one but I don't have more than $150USD to spend.

Hi there
do you have a web site where you got your costume! I plan to dress up as calypso for a fancey dress party and cant seem to find one at all I did google the name of the dress but failed to find what I was looking for! Also how much was the dress out of intereast? I would be really greatful for any help
