Mission: Find the Doctor! (Active/Closed)
Characters: Donna Noble, Rose Tyler, Nanaki, Haruhi Suzumiya, Inoue Orihime, The Doctor (If I forgot someone, let me know, I'll add them in)
Content: Donna and Nanaki meet up with Rose, then are off to try and find the Doctor, who Donna heard is in bad shape. They find them where Haruhi said, in a hotel on 47th.
Location: Starts near the New York Library, then the hotel on 47th where the others are holed up...and all places in between.
Time of day: Afternoon (This is totally backdated to after Rose and Donna's journal posts)
Warnings: Possible bad language. (I will edit this as things happen)

She had just finished telling Rose where to meet her and Nanaki, their goal was to find the Doctor and to make sure he was all right. She had been surprised to find out that Rose was here too...and incredibly surprised to find out that the Doctor was in this place as well. She figured the one person who would avoid something like this was him.

"Ok, so two of my friends are here." She explained out loud. "One is apparently injured, and the other is going to meet me near the New York Library. Do you want to come with?" She offered, not wanting to leave her newest companion and rush out the door.

(ooc: Sorry it took so long to get this up, work was busy this week.)

"If I can be of assistance I would be glad to come," Nanaki said. Really, he was pleased to be of use. Daily survival could actually be mindbogglingly tedious.

"I can lead the way to the library," he offered.

"I would think the more the better if everything I'm reading and what you're saying is true...I wouldn't want to encounter any of the...things...around here alone." She walked over to the door and exited the cafe, holding it for Nanaki as she did so.

"That would be great...I was able to find a map, but I know I might get lost."

"It's actually quite close," Nanaki said as he led the way. "It is safer to travel in a group here, there are crab monsters all over the city. I've never encountered one before, but from what I have heard, they are best avoided."

Nanaki crossed the street toward the library, not bothering to look before he did so, since there were no cars being driven here anymore. "What does this friend of yours we're meeting look like?" he asked.

"I would like to avoid them too." She shivered a bit, partly from cold, partly from the glimpse of events she had been able to get from reading some of the information on the network. Making sure she stayed at least somewhat close to Nanaki, Donna followed, trusting him to get them to their destination.

"She's a blond female, hair about this long, about this tall." She made a couple of motions with her hand to show length and height. "I couldn't tell you what she'll be wearing though."

After hearing where Donna would be the blonde ran towards the destination without a second thought. Sure she had heard about crab monsters lurking about but so far she hadn't encountered any. She just hoped that when they met and got to the Doctor that it wouldn't be too late. Who knew how bad his injuries were.

She slowed to a stop to catch her breath and then soon spotted her with someone else.

"Donna!" she shouted with a small smile before heading over to join them. "Hi."

Nanaki was relieved they had no trouble finding each other. Instinctually he worried about this person having been out around the city on her own, but really he knew better. Just about everyone he'd met here so far had some way of coping with the dangers, even if it didn't seem obvious.

"Hello," he said as he approached Rose.

"Rose!" Donna shouted when she saw the woman. "You're ok!" She had been worried about her wandering the city by herself...and what could have happened to her before arriving, being trapped by Daleks and everything that had been happening back home.

"Rose, this is Nanaki. Nanaki, this is Rose." She said in introduction, not wanting things to be too awkward.
