[20 Aug 2008|11:29pm] rushifaa [ mood | rushed ] I forgot to mention this (and it's important so I feel stupid about it :x) but Monday morning my mom totaled her car. It's just gone. Poof. She can't remember, but she either pulled out at a red light or a truck thought the light was green and went when he wasn't supposed to and slammed into the passenger side of her car. She's really lucky that she didn't get seriously hurt :\ She's got some icky bruises and a sore rib or two, mostly from where her seatbelt was. I'm really glad she got into the habit of wearing her seatbelt. My uncle is letting us use his trick for the time being, so that's good. I'm kind of sad the car is no more. There will be a lot of memories associated with it, definitely XD Like Disneyworld trips and going to Durham to see The Dresden Dolls. Last night I had a dream I was at Oneida Baptist Institute (crazy Christian church around here) with other kids form my school and we were asked to watch a film and take notes. A man (I think it was supposed to be the Principal) said my notes weren't good enough and started quizzing me. He then told me I was going to hell and that I was proof that the public school system wasn't any good. I got so mad that I woke up with a migraine D: I'm reading Wuthering Heights and I like it. School cafeteria food still gives me gas. My mom and I have figured out it's probably whatever kind of shortening they use for the fried food. School food is so not healthy T__T I bought some Bert's Bees Citrus and Ginger Root body wash and the ginger makes it smell just like Ale-8-One ♥ post comment

The 27 year old crashed into the guard rail of the elevated roadway in Hanam-dong. He is said to have died on impact. I loved him so much in Coffee Prince. Rest in peace ♥ post comment

Going to take some kind of test thing this Saturday: Q1:) A solid light means connected. A blinking light means disconnected. If the modem light is blinking this means it is? A:) Connected B:) Disconnected C:) Retarded D:) WTF Kind of Question is this? The correct answer: D No seriously... that was the an example of the kinds of questions on this test from this "Study Guide" they sent XP Oh Em Gee. Though wow XD How cool would it be to just sit in a nice air conditioned cubicle thing all day telling people how they've fucked things up? >D I may get a sick satisfaction out of such a job. Ugh, I was right though. I have to go downtown >~< Yuck. I'll make Jen come with me. Luckily it's only about 1/2 an hour from the apartment. As for food: Macaroni Cheese + Sausage + Bread = FTW<3 (Just not for my heart >D) Jen found wild pears (?WTF?) growing somewhere outside and had decided to pick a shit load of them. :) [20 Aug 2008|02:21pm] lelenmargyle [ music | Utada Hikaru - "Celebrate" ] My roommate had a day off, got lots of sleep and then we cleaned all day.  This place is finally on its way to being up to acceptable living standards!  We had to scrub everything, and even take the knobs and burner things off the stove to soak them and get rid of the grease.  There is still so much to do, but we're getting there.  I've finally cleaned the floor everywhere in my room and I can finish unpacking so I'm not just sleeping next to piles of boxes! Moving is stressful. :( Classes start on Monday. :( But I have a new place with some nice new stuff, and I'm going to see Brideshead Revisited very soon with some of my best friends/roommates! :)  (And it's going to be a ridiculous adaptation and we're going to make fun of it, but that's fun too. :3) post comment

First, I need to get my PO Box.  It’s about $30 for six months and I want the piece of mind enough to have it, to have my own private place for my mail and correspondence.  Alfee is fine with it since I explained to him that it would make me more comfortable and give me a bit of control over my own life.  Plus, I do a lot of holiday exchanges and I don’t want to give out the address. Maybe I can get Alfee to take me out for a bit this weekend coming so that I can get my PO Box arranged and then work on my address changes in the meantime before our 60 day notice here is up the beginning of October.  That way, I will still be able to get my mail here or have it begin the transfer over and collect somewhere safe. Change Address: - The bank - My domains & hosting company - PPP and SS - Adsense & Rightstuf - School alumni societies - Honor societies - ARVLFC - Shojobeat subscription - Amazon.com - The Historian Journal - The National Education Association (NEA) - Voter registration and ID card - Paypal / eBay I also need to cancel my phone and DSL here.  I think that’s all I have to cancel as far as those sorts of things go. post comment
